Gerber are the American equivalent of the Swiss Army. Well, the multi-blade knife making division. Except they make 'tools' and not knives. This is their entry-level multitool, effectively a pair of pliers with the extras tucked inside the handles.
Needless to say, it's beautifully put together, but most pleasing is the fact that the things actually do what they're supposed to. The screwdrivers really screw screws in like a proper screwdriver would, the can opener relieves tins of their lids (at a push) and so on.
And we're not quite sure who or what Fiskars is, but the little scissors work a treat.
The Gerber Series 400 comes with a pouch and consists of:
- needlenose pliers
- wire cutters
- serrated drop point blade
- Fiskars scissors
- large screwdriver
- small screwdriver
- can opener
- crosshead screwdriver
- medium screwdriver/bottle opener
