      Bright Light!

Product not available at the moment.

The advent of LED technology has revolutionised the world of portable illumination. Until recently we had to put up with clunky incandescent bulb technology which produces light by heating up a bit of tungsten wire in a vacuum. Okay, so this might have been clever 100 years ago, but it is time to move on, people! Those old-school torches are woefully inefficient (producing far more heat than light) and eat through batteries like some sort of, erm, battery eating machine. As if that wasn't bad enough, the big batteries required to power such bulky bulbs meant that we couldn't enjoy tiny teeny torches, which is what we really need sometimes, isn't it?

        Torch in hand

Enter the miracle of LEDs. Their perfection by wild-haired, labcoat-wearing, socially inept Physics boffins means that we urbane, witty hipsters can now enjoy miniaturised and highly efficient lighting solutions; so miniaturised in fact that you can now easily carry a torch around on your keyring without even noticing it's there until you need it! Thanks, boffins!

        Torch light

The Firefly Microlight is about the size of a £1 coin, emits a surprisingly strong beam of light and has a battery life of up to 6 hours continuous use. Ideal for illuminating keyholes, finding your way to the toilet at 3 a.m., or making your cheeks glow amusingly.

        Red Torch

Available in White, Red or Blue, the Microlight is sturdily constructed and can handle any amount of pocket-based abuse (stop sniggering at the back!). And as they use less energy, by using LED torches, you are, in your small way, helping to save the planet. Which is nice.
