Holy attention to detail Batman!
If you’re new to the Batman
franchise you’ll know the Batmobile as a great brutish tank that pancakes cop cars and bounds over Gotham’s rooftops. But in a more innocent age – before the moon landing, Watergate, Dirty Harry and passenger airbags – the caped crusader rode around with the wind in his fuzzy little ears and the sun on his tights.
Based on a Lincoln concept car that never made it to production (can you imagine?) the Adam West era Batmobile
was a camp explosion of curving perspex, outrageous fins, and oversized exhaust pipes. But holy screen icons, what a beauty! And now it can be yours, albeit at 1:43 the size
This 1966 Batmobile Die Cast
is an officially licensed die cast replica of the Adam West Batmobile. Complete with all the famous features – although sadly just for show – this pint sized treasure is a must for any fan of the series. And it’s a great way to tide you over while you save up for the real thing
