Even if you travel on the Underground regularly, it's still easy to lose your bearings. Tottenham Court this, Bakerloo that; alight here, all change there - it's enough to confuse anyone.

Yes, there are massive maps everywhere you look, but trying to plot your route while some rucksack-wearing tourist is obscuring most of your view is even more annoying than standing behind a dawdling dolt on the escalator who doesn't know their left from their right.

And whilst it's true most AtoZs feature tube maps, who wants to ruin the line of their suit with a bulky book? It's with all of this in mind that we're proud to present the chic, sleek and incredibly neat Credit Card Underground Maps.

Detailing Zone 1 and its immediate surroundings, the stylish stainless steel Credit Card Tube Map is a must-have accessory for any London-based commuter. It's also a great gift for anyone visiting London who doesn't want to look like a tourist. A quick glance in your wallet or purse and you'll be on your way.

Best of all you need never suffer the embarrassment that occurs when, having realised you're on the wrong train and lurched towards the doors as they slam shut, you have to then sit down again as a carriage-full of commuters snigger behind their broadsheets.

The famous London Underground diagram designed by Henry Beck in 1931 has become an internationally acknowledged masterpiece, emulated by many transport organisations throughout the world. This informative little sliver really is an indispensable item for anyone who takes the tube. You may not need to refer to it today, tomorrow or even next week. But when you do, we guarantee you'll be unable to stop grinning at the person sat opposite. Stand clear of the doors!

Went on a 26 hour whirlwind trip to London this Friday/Saturday, so thought id take a little video of me using my latest firebox toy!! It's fab, even though I know the underground quite well it's really useful. (p.s the hands in the video look quite manly – that’s because they’re my boyfriends hands – I shot the video!!)

visitor avatar Bought two of these but not for the tube map... for the fact that they are a couple of awesome shiny credit-card-sized pieces of steel that I can make a "credit card sandwich" out of, keeping my various bits o' plastic from bending - and snapping - in my wallet. I've tried credit card cases in the past but they are (1) too flimsy and (2) not expandable. This solves both problems and has worked great at keeping everything flat. Necessity IS the mother of invention.
Terry, Harrogate - 8th November 2011
Firebox says: Great news Terry! We are very glad to hear that!
visitor avatar Does this work in an ATM?

visitor avatar How come I found this site AFTER I finished my Christmas shopping. My dad would love this... D: I'm coming back for birthdays and next years Christmas!
Joel, Leeds - 27th November 2010
visitor avatar I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend who is always getting lost in London. Unfortunately he didn't like using it because he said it was too shiny and reflected too much light. I however put it in my purse and its come in useful many times (except on weekends when most lines are closed - rubbish underground!).
Elise, South London - 11th May 2010
visitor avatar This is a great idea love the fact that it fits perfectly in your wallet and stops you from picking up yet another tube map. However I think it should also some in colour as it makes it some much easier to read the lines. Are there any plans for this?
Daniel, London - 12th March 2009
Firebox says: Not at the moment Daniel. Its just the cool metal look but keep an eye out on the site.
visitor avatar I got this for christmas from a friend, having seen it and admired it in your site. I travel to London for meetings and always end up having to pick up yet another copy of the tube map when I get there. This polished piece of metal looks great and will help save a tree or two along the way!
Donna, West Midlands - 28th December 2006
visitor avatar I got this as a b-day present just before going off to uni and apart from being infinitely more pocket sized than a paper map, it was a lifesaver countless times.
Nick, Portsmouth - 24th July 2006
visitor avatar I was given one of these for my birthday present and it is a life saver. I was in London on a art trip with my college and while all my classmates were fiddeling around with a large uncool photocopied map (a death to your street cred) I was using my sleek Credit Card Underground Map. Thanks again Firebox!
Lee Davenport, Driffield, UK - 10th December 2005
visitor avatar Brought one for my girlfriend and she loves it, plus she always using the rear side as a mirror, very useful.
