The Vectron Blackhawk - the classic indoor spinning UFO - has consistently been one of our best-selling radio controlled toys over the last few years. The Vectron only had only one drawback: it was mains powered, and so the UFO and controller were tethered by cables. The Mini Vectron Ultralite is the brand new successor to the Blackhawk and solves both these problems: it is smaller, battery powered and completely wireless - creating the ultimate in indoor UFO havoc!
The Mini Vectron's high-efficiency motor and counter-rotating body system provides lift and rotational stability. You control the Mini Vectron's height via the handheld Infra-red controller - fly up, down & hover by simply squeezing the one-button trigger with varying pressure. (Please note: residual air currents in the room will dictate left-right & forward-back movement).

The secret to the Mini Vectron's power source lies in the Launch Pad which cunningly doubles as a Charging Station, powering the Vectrons onboard 100mA Ni-MH rechargeable battery.
The Mini Vectron charges in around 10 minutes, giving up to 3 minutes of flying time. With a bit of practice you'll be taking off, hovering and landing like an expert.

I got mine this morning, its great!!! My dog looks at it funny when its in the air and runs away hehehehe.This is by far the best gadget i have ever had (if you know me, you will understand that i really love this gadget as i own loads of gadgets.) Thanks for all the reviews that made me buy this :-) .. The vectron takes about 7-10 mins to charge and you have about 1-2 mins playtime with it. Hope this helps. Bye...

I just got one and WOW! As soon as I took it out of the box I put it on charge and then lether rip! I made it hover dead still in the middle of the living room, one guy was walking outside and just stopped and stared at it! Then I thought it's time for some real fun! it was just becoming dark when I took it outside (be carfull if u do) and I could see the guy next door washing up next to his window, so after a full charge I sent it off, it flew very high and then as there was hardly any wind i manged to hover it just above my fence, I didn't know what his reaction was? I couldn't see, so I cut the power and it fell. I ran into my house up stairs and looked through my window, now i could see two peple at the window just looking up! (His wife and him) I could see him pointing outside saying something and she just kinda gave him a stupid look and walked off. it was sooooo funny. p.s my cat loves it too.Chris .F., Worthing - 29th May 2004
Best toy I have bought in a long time, although you only control altitude, by varying in different parts of the room, a degree of lateral movement can be had.
I'm getting 3 - 4 minutes 'fly time' and about a 10 minute charge.
The perfect amount of time for a quick Bop It challenge.

This baby is a joy, takes 3-4 mins for a full charge. Then just grab the hand set and away you go for about 7 Minutes. The best charge-and-play ratio around. Few things though. 1: you only control height, so be prepared to smash things up & upset the dog. 2: Don't take it outside - it just ain't worth it. As soon as it's out of range it powers up - takes off further out of range flips up side down and jammy dodgers itself off the pavement. w00t w00t!
