Customer Reviews

This is the ultimate guide to drawing comics! Even if you just want to get into drawing, this is great as the book talks about perspective, proportion, good tools to use and more! Good size to easily put in my school bag and practice.

Hopefully this will make me the cool Uncle who can draw things for his niece and nephew!

It's a great little book with sections explaining various forms of perspective, drawing the human body, head and face, layout and composition and storytelling.

Yeah, this is worth the money. Anyone of a certain age will remember 'How to Draw the Marvel Way'. Well, think of it like that - but with a whole lot more, besides. I actually bought this for my son, to further his interest in art and drawing. Suffice to say that it's been something we do together and something that I'm learning from, as much as he is! Who knows - I might even resurrect my home-grown hero of 1980, the Ice King, and finally get round to drawing that much dreamed-of comic-strip. Great stuff for anyone with an interest in comic art.
