Forget your average tasteless swill, and get creative with the Brooklyn Brew Shop Beer Making Kits. Styled on traditional brewing methods, passed down for generations, it's much more than a set-and-forget system.

Designed for the terrifically tiny kitchens of a New York apartment, this kit lets you do your brew almost anywhere. But unlike other 'simpler' brewing kits, the Brooklyn Beer kit focuses on providing a small-scale setup without dumbing down the process – so your brew stays true.

The initial mix will make about 10 beers, and the ingredients are easily sourced, so your glass need never be empty. Perfect for anyone interested in inventing an IPA or carefully crafting a cold one; get creative, add ingredients and enjoy the satisfaction of serving your very own suds.

Go on, B.I.Y – Brew It Yourself.

Very good kit. Everything you need except the kitchen equipment. Clear instructions and a great result. Done two batches now and love it. I'm hooked. 1 gallon is perfect to test if you like doing it and have limited space. Father's Day presents sorted for a while from my daughter.
David, London - 11th January 2014
Easy to use only a few extra bits needed to get you started. My first IPA is due for drinking about Christmas and hopefully will get a few kits to keep me going in the new year.
Steven Barnett, Hull - 16th December 2013
This kit is just amazeballs! I got the IPA and it was easy to make and great fun. I found myself checking on its progress all the time. The taste was really nice and much better than I expected. The best thing about this kit is that its reusable, my chocolate maple porter is ready to drink next week! Also, this brewing stuff does become addictive. I have bought wine making kits since and have started experimenting with my own al grain brews :). If you have money to burn then make sure you buy this!
Gray, Berkshire - 31st August 2013
Firebox says: Glad you're having such fun with it Gray! Bottoms up!
Bought this as a fathers days gift 'everything you need to brew your own ale' .... I purchased 'chestnut brown ale'. There aren't any chestnuts in it... What makes it any different to the chocolate or ipa??
Hel Cruse, Ayrshire - 12th July 2013
Firebox says: Hey there Hel, it's a good question. A chestnut ale has a rather Nutty taste to it, hence its name. Where the chocolate ale is more dark and full bloodied! Hope this helps!
Great kit! If you don't have a lot of space and don't need 20L of beer each time, this is perfect. I've made the Chesnut Brown Ale and it's amazing. I was quite impressed with the results for a beginner! Firebox, please import different mixes. The 3 options of the kit they sell in some places, but in the US they have like 50 recipes!
Rafael, London - 28th May 2013
Firebox says: Glad you liked this Rafael, we certainly will look into stocking other mixes of these, watch this space.
I picked up an Everyday IPA kit around a month ago, and the resulting batch tastes incredible compared to anything I've ever bought from a shelf, and you actually learn a lot about the process of beer making should you want to whip up another batch (...believe me, you will). If Firebox also sold the grain kits on their own, my new ambition as a brewer would be complete!
Elliot Forde, Manchester - 13th April 2013
Firebox says: Hey Elliot, we'll look into the other kits, you may even see them soon.
