If you've ever been frustrated by traffic gridlock then this addictive puzzle game is the perfect antidote. The unusual concept requires you to shift the troublesome blocking cars and trucks out of your way until a path clears to the exit. As you might expect this is much easier said than done! There are 40 puzzle challenge cards and four levels of play: beginner, intermediate, advanced, and expert. The most difficult levels have some of the meanest traffic unsnarling challenges ever imagined. Level 4 makes negotiating spaghetti junction look like a Sunday afternoon cruise!

This is my brother Joe playing with the rush our he got for christmas. He did all the begginer and intermediate cards then he decided to skip straight to the hardest card and as you can see got a little frustrated.

visitor avatar This game is fantastic, so small and fits in a little bag which comes with it so it doesn't take up much room when you're not using it. HOURS of puzzling entertainment, the harder ones can have you REALLY stumped, a real challenge. I've seen that ThinkFun do 3 'top-up' packs of 40 cards with an extra car. Will firebox be stocking these soon so I can get even more enjoyment from my Rush Hour??

Firebox says: Good stuff Daisy. Not as yet but we may add it as an accessory in the future.
visitor avatar I remember buying one of these a few years ago for my cousin in a tiny little shop at the edge of town (it closed down soon after) and my mum and I spent ages playing with it before we could bear to wrap it up. I'm really pleased to see them on here because I hadn't been able to find them anywhere else. THANK GOD FOR FIREBOX! I'm asking for one for Christmas.

visitor avatar Got this for Xmas and was hooked instantly! Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to finish it as I took it to work and it spends most of the time on other peoples desks mainly my boss's!

visitor avatar I bought this game for my 12 year old, now I need to buy another one for his Grandad - addictive and simple - can't recommend it enough

visitor avatar This is a great game for wasting away the hours, astonishing for something that looks so humble.

visitor avatar My sister got this game about 2 years ago and ever since I've used it all the time. It is very addictive and fun and it gets your mind working. In my opinion I think every one who has read this review [should] buy this game.

visitor avatar I purchased this game intending it to be a Xmas present for my nephew. It arrived this morning, and I can't leave it alone. It is so simple, but so addictive. This may sound weird, but in these days of consoles, mobile phone games etc, it is great to have a game where you actually touch the pieces you are moving. I will have to order another one!
Paul Sampson, Bristol, UK - 4th November 2003
visitor avatar This is such a magnificent thing. I was instantly hooked and forced to buy the update cards from the manufacturers (Binary Arts) in the US...I now have to ration myself so as not to finish them all too quickly (what's the rush??)

visitor avatar Excellent Game!!

visitor avatar A fine piece of retro 70's plastic puzzling. The puzzle learning curve is very shallow though, so expect to race through the first 20 odd cards pretty quickly. All the same, it's a great game and one the wife loves which is a rarity in itself.
