All you have to do is pull back the elastic rear section and release it slingshot-style. Airzooka then propels a powerful pocket of air straight at your intended target. It's like having an invisible pair of mega-powerful bellows. With its powerful phantom blasts, Airzooka is ideal for convincing coworkers there's a poltergeist in town, or simply confusing them to the point of insanity. They really won't know what hit them!
You can also have immeasurable fun ruffling a vain colleague's hair, furtively blowing his/her paperwork all over the place, or indulging in a little target practice with a few paper cups. So what if Airzooka resembles something that a cartoon director might use to bark orders at his cast. The point is, this colorful contraption is ingeniously simple, never runs out of ammo and brings a whole new meaning to the phrase 'air gun.' Put simply, Airzooka will blow you away!

It's not exactly rocket surgery...
How Airzooka works
The Airzooka is what physicists call a 'vortex generator'. A vortex is a body of air or water that is swirling around itself. Tornadoes, smoke rings, and whirlpools are good examples.
When air is forced out of the front of the Airzooka air gun, some air hits the edges of the hole and slows down. This slower air is then pulled forward by the faster moving air in the center and starts swirling around itself in a ring.
The vortex can travel a long distance before breaking up, and you can actually feel a strong blast of air when it hits you! Vortex concepts were originally discovered and written about by Viktor Schauberger, in the context of boring science stuff, but it took the genius of some guy called Brian Jordan to see the real potential of utilizing the phenomenon to create this fantastic toy. Three cheers for Brian!

"The workplace is stressful for many. Lighten it up by creating some mischief with the Airzooka. It's a fun gun capable of blasting a 'ball' of air at unsuspecting colleagues!"Health & Fitness Magazine - Oct '03
The physics of this device—involving the Bernoulli effect, toroidal vortices, and other such phenomena—is so intriguing that teachers may be using the AirZooka for their classroom demonstrations. But the wacky pleasure of shooting air balls requires, fortunately, no advanced degree. Discover - Jul '03

I have much enjoyed ruffling a few hair styles (and the range gives me plenty of time to run away).Adam Vertigan, Fakenham Norfolk - May '08
It blew me away.

Haha!! This thing rules. I never thought blasting plastic cups from the top of my boss's head William Tell style could be such fun. Trouble is, when our colleagues next door heard the bang and us lot cheering, they thought we were popping champagne open.
Top stuff! and thanks for the sweets as well. That was a nice suprise.Steve Worswick, Goole, East Yorkshire - Dec '03
These are amazing. I have a smoke machine and me and my brother sprayed smoke into the Airzooka and fired it and it made smoke rings. It's such a cool toy.JG, Scotland - Jul '10
These are really cool, its suprising how far it travels ! Can have lots of fun shooting things .... Only downside is the bang it makes every time u do it (would be good if it was silent so people didnt know you were firing at them)... Good product though - recommend for kids and adults who act like kids :).Steve Fox, Scunthorpe - Dec '07
Wow what a great piece of simple ingenious fun I cant get enough of shooting my pets and family *cough* I mean static objects and trees. Well done firebox!!!Ben, Somerset (farmerland) - Jun '06
These fantastic contraptions are so much fun, reccomended for anyone!Tony Rogers, London - Jan '06
Quite hard to put together but its amazing!Anna, Sussex - Aug '05
This is simply lethal! I teach science and it's fantastic for demos on air forces. The coolest thing is if you use it in a steam filled room (after a shower) - you can see the pocket of air fly'n through the steam! Try it - brilliant!Andy Bell, Northern Ireland - Apr '05
jon smart ur obviously not too smart if u couldnt tell from the endless photos its size or bright colouration

Myself and my friend Dave who I made the film with were media students at one time. We've both been graduated a year or so and now work for a small video company in our home town of Hull. We spend a lot of time making corporate videos which was why it was so much fun to create something less then serious and get creative.
