Well I love chillies, and I love peanut butter, so I imagined I'd love this. I'm no chilli wimp - I have Megadeath sauce (look it up, you'll like it) - in my fridge. But I have to say that although this peanut butter is really, really, REALLY hot the taste isn't great. It just tastes of chilli juice. All peanut flavour is entirely obscured. Personally, I didn't really like it. However my husband has mastered spreading a micrometre of this on bread followed by a thick layer of normal peanut butter. Not only does this taste much better, but the heat is then manageable (still best consumed with a glass of milk). Obviously the fun of this item is its mild-blowing hotness, but it's a bit of a shame the flavour's no good.

Well, he was warned. I told him about the reviews, he read them himself, and read the label on the jar - but he didn't believe it! He does now LOL Had the spread on toast, with cottage cheese and tomato, but still needed yoghurt to ease the pain, and several Tums later in the day! Maybe next time he'll believe what he's told! But apart from the mouth-burning/stomach burning effect - he did seem to like it! ;o).

May be one of the hottest things I have ever tasted. Brought tears to my eyes and just kept on burning. . Made sure everyone in the office tried a bit most couldn't believe how hot it was.

O, quite partial to a chicken phaal. However this, this is beyond food. 15 minutes and 1pint of yohurt later its not letting up.
Anyway as you said not to put it below the belt well being a man I had to know why!. DONT ever do it Just Dont please dont you will regret your a man!

First Impressions:
Looks like peanut butter, maybe a shade darker than I expected, smells exactly like peanut butter with no discernible spicy smell, just a smell of peanut butter.
Spread a generous layer on toast - Instantly regretted my bravado, while the burn did not reach my eyes or bring my face to warmth, it did persist on my tongue and throat for at least 10 minutes and had to cool my tongue with milk to ease the pain. Considerably spicier than I expected, and certainly offensively hot.
Taste: Still tastes like peanut butter however after 3 bites of toast the burn and spice were overpowering my senses to the degree I could scarcely taste.

Amazing delivery timing. The product is self explanatory, you WILL regret it. My boss at work was feeling cocky, him and his mate tried a whole spoon of the stuff and they claimed they've had hotter chilies, but thats them, their used to spice, or at least they thought they were, then one laughs at the other saying, 'your sweating'. The after effect is as shocking as the initial taste. When I tried it with a minuscule amount.... . Given I eat normal curries, my mouth was on fire.
Its funny though, it actually smells nice, like peanut butter (really?). Well worth the £7 :).
