Under the watchful eye of Archchancellor Ridcully, himself an eager amateur brewer, the Discworld micro-brewing industry is enjoying a bit of a heyday. Combining flavours and styles from all over the worlds, this taster box of Discworld Ales is the perfect introduction.

Handcrafted in the Unseen University Boathouse Brewery by some of the finest underground (literally, in the cellars) brewers in Ankh Morpork, these are the first official Discworld Ales. Featuring a robust Oatmeal Stout, a couple of IPAs and a refreshing Golden Ale, they’ll look fine in any Fantasy Fiction fan’s fridge.

Already beloved by the City Watch, and the numerous local Guilds, it’s an absolute must for fans of Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series. Or anyone just looking for some uniquely delicious beers (developed by student wizards, dwarf labourers and Fourecks locals).

Product Features:
  • Hix's Darkside (Oatmeal Stout)
      7%. A rounded yet robust oatmeal stout. Complex malt character with a multitude of flavours. A smooth sweetness from the abundance of oats gives this beer its style.
  • Bledlow's Silence (IPA)
      5.5%. A classic style IPA. Simcoe and Chinook hops work in perfect harmony to provide an aroma of tropical citrus fruits and resinous pine, leading to intense grapefruit and a pleasant bitterness.
  • Modo's Midden (Golden Ale)
      4.5%. An honest, earthy and refreshing golden ale with a classic aroma of cedar and herbs. A light lemon/grapefruit flavour develops under the cedar, leaving a well-rounded taste in the mouth.
  • Bugarup Blondy (Fourecks IPA)
      4%. A refreshing blonde ale with a delicate bitterness makes this a truly quaffable beer. Fresh lemon and pine are present, with delightful apricot and melon flavours leave a sweet but crisp hoppiness in the mouth.

My dad absolutely loved these - his only issue was whether to drink them - or put them up on show! He finally decided to drink them, and as a big fan of 'real ales' he really enjoyed them! Perfect gift for any Terry Pratchett fan... or an Ale Fan!

I ordered these for my partner for Xmas its now the 19th December and they still haven't arrived this company take the mickey much, yeah im grateful for the postage back but come on nearly a month in advance I ordered them and I keep getting fobbed off id look around if I were people looking for these, ive been promised that the order will be dealt with by the 21st LOL.

Delivery took ages, was suppose to be a birthday gift but was 10days late :( so will now have to a Christmas gift. I love the packaging and the labels on the bottles can't wait for my dad to open it. The only thing is it needs better dividers for inside the presentation box as the boxes slightly to big had to use the cardboard one for the delivery box which ruins the look slightly. But def a 5* product. Xx.
