Star Trek Door Chime
It’s a door chime Jim, but not as we know it
Sorry, this product is not available.
If you’re a Sci-Fi fan, there’s not a lot to be excited about when it comes to door bells. We haven’t quite caught up with Star Fleet technology, so you won’t be getting beamed up any time soon, but in the mean time you can feel a whole lot closer to the bridge with the new Star Trek Door Chime.
Perfect for placing next to doors
After all; sometimes a feeling is all we humans have to go on. Wouldn’t you say Captain?
This officially licensed motion-sensitive door chime is modelled on the original ‘old-school’ Star Trek communicator panels and is easily mounted. It also features three distinctive sound effects; a push-button Communicator Whistle, Door Opening sound and a Red Alert alarm, in case of interplanetary intruders.
Communicator button for the whistle effect
- Officially licensed Star Trek merchandise
- Includes communicator whistle, door opening & red alert alarm sounds FX
- On/off switch on rear and settings switch on front
- 3x AA batteries (not included)
- Measures approximately 17cm(W) x 14cm(H) x 3cm(D)
BUY THIS!!!! Firstly, it's damn cool and works perfectly. Secondly it's really light so you don't have to hammer nails into your walls just to hold it up. Thirdly it feels fragile but trust me, that thing is like Jonny Wilkinson's foot; solid and reliable. Very, VERY pleased. And, as usual, the service was fantastic.

Its cracking. Ok, I'm a bit of a geek but I grew up watching Classic Trek on BBC2
This little beaut is cracking. Mine arrived last week and its already mounted on the wall in the loo. We have a sliding door between loo & bedroom. It 'swooshes' every time you walk through. Admittedly you have to open the door yourself then it swooshes but its still cool. I plan to use the Red Alert noise when my mate stays over as he's got a drunken habit of wandering into our bedroom (much to the wifes disgust).
