Since its release from Soviet Russia in the early 80’s, Tetris has become firmly entrenched as one of the greatest computer games of all time. The symmetry, the strategy, the flashing, coloured bricks; frankly, it has everything a discerning gamer could possibly wish for.

Simply connect one of the bricks to the mains and then as each new brick is placed into position they will light up through some kind of magical, pre-war 8-bit Russian science.*

If you don't own this then you should. It's a lovely thing and fits into my Ikea storage unit beautifully - I haven't noticed any flicker that would be classed as annoying but then perhaps I can't see very well. Anyhoo, buy this. Ok thanks.

The lights are great, but the flicker is a standard AC/50Hz cycle, and massively distracting. The phrase "As with all low voltage lights some people may see a faint flicker effect from the lights" isn't very accurate; these flicker more than any other low voltage light I own (and I have lots)... It's a design feature due to the blocks being reversible, which most lights don't have/require. Certainly not the kind of light you'd want to leave on full time. They look great, but definitely only an occasional light.

Really fun tetris product! Me and my partner use them in our flat to bring a bit of colour to the place. They give out a nice glow and I really like the fact that they can be arranged in anyway you want. My partner was never much of a fan of tetris when it came out but he loves playing with this light set! Even my niece loves playing with it, much more fun than boring wooden building blocks.

Bought this for a friend's 30th birthday and it was a total hit. It's quite small but you wouldn't want it much bigger on your desk. It's bright and colourful and their are endless possibilities of how to arrange the individual boxes. Highly recommended!
