Have you ever heard of the Scoville scale? Of course not, you’re a sensible human being. Why would you need to know that there’s a scale for measuring the heat of chilli peppers? Well, until recently we’d have agreed, but then we discovered 100,000 Scovilles Naga Chilli Vodka. And we like you too much not to say something.

Packing more heat than the devil with a shotgun, this dangerously spicy vodka is up there with the Habanero chilli and scotch bonnet pepper on Scoville’s infamous scale. Officially classed as the world’s hottest vodka, this volatile blend is only for the serious spice fan (or the plain barmy). Forget hot toddies, the makers even warn against drinking this powerful stuff in measures as large as a shot.

So why are we selling it? Well you know what they say – keep your friends close and all that. So raise your right hand and repeat after Firebox: ‘I solemnly swear if I buy 100,000 Scovilles Naga Chilli Vodka I will pass on this timely warning to anyone barmy enough to try it’. Now buy plenty of yoghurt, keep the cold tap running and don’t say we didn’t warn you...

Customer Reviews

Is this item available for shipping to the USA?
Tim - 27th March 2012
Firebox says: Sadly no, this can only be shipped to the UK, sorry about that!
Cocktail wise i'm thinking nuclear bloody mary... a few drops should do.
Archonic Energy - 17th March 2012
Firebox says: That would be AMAZING! Great Idea!
DISCLAIMER: I am neither inebriated or of unsound mind...but of burning mouth. I bought a bottle of this stuff and it arrived today! It was the one delivery I was genuinely nervous about receiving...for good reason! I decided to pour a mere millimeter into a shot glass (because I'm brave like that!) - took a tiny sip and expected a more peppery flavour to come through...but instead, all I got was warmth. I drank the rest thinking it wasn't that bad - it was that bad! A mouthful of milk and a head full of regret followed. Still, it could make for some interesting "battle-shots"... or maybe not.
Mally - 22nd February 2012
Firebox says: Hope your heads feeling better! However we don't recommend drinking this straight up, imagine what its done to your insides! Please heavily dilute this drink before consuming.
Could you use this to make cocktails? I know tesco's used to do a chilli cola and was wondering if you could use it to make vodka and coke etc or replace the vodka in a drink for this.
Craig - 22nd February 2012
Firebox says: Hi Craig, While you could make a cocktail with this drink, the manufacturer highly recommends that it's heavily diluted before drinking.
