Caran D'Ache 1010 Diamonds
Diamonds are a pen's best friend
Oscillating weight balances the pen beautifully while you write with it
Billed as the world’s most expensive pen, this jaw-droppingly OTT writing instrument will set you back a cool €1,000,000 – but what’s a whopping great pile of money amongst pens? Pull this baby out on your yacht and colleagues won’t know whether to gawp in awe or grab it and scarper.
Conceived as a tribute to the precision timepiece, one of Switzerland’s finest exports, the limited edition Caran D’Ache is crafted in white gold with more than 850 exceptionally pure diamonds, in three styles of cut, totalling approximately 24.61 carats. Even the delicately engraved nib is hand made in rhodium plated 18-carat gold, while the cap and exterior cage are inspired by various wristwatch parts.
872 diamonds totalling 24.61 carats! This pen is for writing big money cheques.
All the diamonds are set by hand
Needless to say, the only downside here is the price. But if you’re into your bling and you know how to write with a fountain pen (we haven’t an inkling – boom boom) this is most definitely the pen for you. Every Premiership club, oligarch, world leader and Liberace fan should have one. Write on!

I think I will stick to my Bic (other pens are avaiable).Ann, Swansea - 6th March 2012
'Firebox says: I've heard those pyramid schemes are good money makers too!'
LOL
I own pure physical Au and Ag with full title and will do very nicely after the newly announced 1:1 Ag exchange is up-to-speed and named.
If you want Ponzi schemes, I read that SLV and AAPL are popular.
Good luck selling these pens :P.Quicksilver, UK - 3rd March 2012
I'm not impressed, IMHO more money than sense and blind vanity buys this pretty obscenely expensive Billionaire tat; even if I had the extra cash to buy this, I'd rather Zero Hedge the spare cash to growing my Au and Ag Bullion stash faster; I bet my bling keeps its value better and buy more when we finally see 'blood-in-the-streets'!Quicksilver, UK - 1st March 2012

That's all well and good but I know a place that will sell you a gel pen that smells like Watermelon !! For less than half that price (much less than half in fact).Jack "Sarcastic" Northall, Coventry - 17th February 2012
