Zipfy Sledge

Lugging a sledge up a mountain (or snowy hill) can be exhausting; which is no fun at all. So this winter instead of doing yourself a mischief before even climbing on your wobbly death-trap, grab a Zipfy Sledge instead. Smaller, lighter and more manoeuvrable than your average plastic toboggan, this colourful sled can be enjoyed by the whole family (one at a time).

Just throw one over your shoulder and jog nimbly up to the top of the slope (we might be hoping for too much there). Sit with one leg either side of the black handle and push off! You’ll soon be careering down the hill, gripping the handle for dear life and reaching speeds that’ll naturally produce a chuckle; if not a giddy squeal. We’re not sure of the science, but every time our Fireboxers in the field tested it they made a sound like a giggly gerbil.

Available in your choice of blue, green, red and pink you’ll easily spot your fellow Zipfyers as they whoosh down the slope – even if their laughter hasn’t already given them away. Dig your heels into the white stuff to control your speed; and use your mitts to control direction. By the time you reach the bottom you’ll be a dab hand at it and raring for more. So what’s stopping you? Grab your lightweight luge and get back up that hill!
