Wacom Inkling
The digital doodler
Sketch and write directly onto paper
and onto your Mac or PC
Still with us, non-graphics types? Excellent. Because we’ve found a high-tech pen that’ll render the whole of that last paragraph irrelevant! With the Wacom Inkling you can sketch, draw or make notes on any kind of paper; then upload an exact match to your computer.
Comes with carry case and ink refills
Connect via USB and export your work to your image editing programs
The whole kit comes in a handy travel case. How handy, you say? Well, when the pen or receiver is running low on battery power, slot them into the case and connect it to your computer’s USB port. Safe in their case, you can charge both bits of kit at the same time. Magic!

Can it save your writings?Macarena, USA - 15th November 2011
Firebox says: Whatever you draw or write, as long as it's within an A4 paper size, will be saved on the receiver until you upload it to your computer. However, it creates the files as either bitmap or vector files. When you upload to your computer you can either save all the sketches in the native Inkling format or as single layer files in other popular image formats such as JPEG, PNG, PDF or SVG. It does not have built in handwriting recognition software as yet, but additional software is available.
