When you want to use it, just slide out the flexible aerial and clip it into your iPad’s 30-pin connector. The Elgato EyeTV Mobile DTT picks up DVB-T (also known as DTT, or Freeview) signals. It then transmits the signals flawlessly to your iPad or computer using its own local WiFi network. No internet access is required – the digital channels are free to watch!

- EyeTV Mobile supports DVB MPEG-2 standard definition video. MPEG-2 HD channels are not supported. MPEG-4/H.264 channels are not supported except in Japan at 320 x 240 maximum resolution
- Freeview HD or DVB-T2 is not supported
- EyeTV Mobile app supports program guide data from the DVB-T stream; tvtv guide data is not supported
- A TV license is required by law to view any television channels in the UK
