Old-fashioned alarm clocks are all well and good but they have an infuriating habit of dinga-linging you awake with their cacophonous bells and failing to go off when you forget to wind them up. That said, there’s something incredibly appealing about that classic round face and twin bell design. And that’s just one of the reasons why we love the Tick Tock iPhone Alarm Clock.

Fashioned to resemble a traditional alarm clock, this charming docking station is perfect for forward-thinking Apple-lovers with one foot in the past. Brimming with features it boasts two 360° omni-directional full-range speakers, delivering rich, multi-directional sound that can be controlled using your docked iPod/iPhone.

black clock lifestyle

Black version

Impressed? You will be because the Tick Tock also incorporates an integrated FM radio for all you radio app haters, an LCD display for FM/aux/alarm/time/date functions, five preset alarms and time synchronization with your iGizmo. You can even pivot the dock out of the way and use the Tick Tock as a semi-conventional alarm clock.

Now comes the part where we tell you that this iPhone/iPod friendly device has an auxiliary 3.5mm input for additional audio connectivity – ideal for those (frankly unlikely) moments when you can’t find your iPhone but are desperate to listen to some old CDs (well, you never know). The point is this quality dock is fully equipped for any scenario.

back of clock

Inputs and controls on the back

Come to think of it, the only thing the Tick Tock iPhone Alarm Clock can’t do is self-destruct when that unspeakable Moyles buffoon comes on in the morning. But that’s why you sleep with a hammer under your pillow, isn’t it? Isn’t it? Hmmm…

Available in black, beige and white, this eye-catching bedside gadget is guaranteed to renew your enthusiasm for retro-modern chic and early morning starts. Best of all, the bells are just for show. Ding dong!

Customer Reviews

Would this charge my iphone 4S? I normally charge my phone at night while asleep so this would be great if the dock did charge!!
Liam Pitt, Birmingham - 7th March 2012
Firebox says: Hi Liam, it sure does charge the phone!
Ah, sorry, never mind that. It was just my computer that made the white clock look so similar to the beige. It seems perfectly white on my boyfriend's.
Amanda Saunders, United Kingdom - 11th December 2011
In the pictures, the white looks more cream to me... if I order a white, will it be white-white or more of a cream colour?
