We like construction kits. We like blinky lights. So we bound to like the Laser Pegs Dune Buggy. This innovative make-it-yourself kit actually lights up as you build it! How? Well, that’s the clever bit.

Just connect a peg-shaped component to the power source and start adding pegs to it. Each peg passes a tiny electric current to the next. This tiny charge has no effect on us but it’s enough to light up an LED inside each peg. So no rubber trousers required.

Use the step-by-step instructions to build your Dune Buggy. Or, if you’re anything like us, abandon them half way through and build a glowing robotic octopus instead (or similar).
