This item is amazing if you're, lets say at school or in college, and they don't have decent amplifiers. You only need to take out your iPod, iPhone or iPad and connect it to your guitar using the cable and wallah! a brilliant amplifier at your disposal. Iwan Grenet, Clydfan, Ael Y Garth, Caernarfon, Gwynedd, LL55 1HA, Wales - 9th November 2012
Firebox says: Hey Iwan! Thank you, brilliant to hear. Hope you're creating some public noise.
Ordered this last week, arrived very quickly. I must say that the cable is of a very high quality. The ishred app is terrible, although it works with many better alternatives. Do bear in mind that no matter which app you use, you will need to buy effects pedals/amps/mics etc in the app, often costing £3-6 for each pedal, or a group pack costing £10-20, so bear that in mind when ordering. Can this be used with a microphone to record vocals? Mikey, Kent - 5th December 2011
Firebox says: Hi Mikey, yes it does work with a mic - but it will require a different connecting adapter that unfortunately we don't sell.
Will this be suitable for a bass guitar? N, London - 12th November 2011
Firebox says: It sure will! there are bass applications that can be used!
