Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the living room... the radio controlled Air Swimmers Shark really does appear to be swimming impossibly through the air. This ingenious balloon is propelled by its sideways-moving tail.
Unlike typical helium balloons (which only want to go up) the Air Swimmer is filled with helium – ensuring it simply hangs in the air. You can then use the radio control to make it swim. Up, down, left and right; with a bit of practice you’ll make your living room look like a giant aquarium!
In fact, the Shark's movement is so graceful and gentle that you can easily use it in enclosed spaces where twitchy RC helicopters and planes would struggle. Perfect for guarding your bedroom or scaring off unwelcome guests.

Hi there,
A question:
I've ordered 3 of these for xmas presents and to avoid complications I was going to buy in the helium in a can. How much would I need to fill the 3 balloons? (2 sharks and a clown)

Firebox says: Hi Darren, a standard can of 'Party Helium' from most supermarkets should be enough to fill 2 Air Swimmers (or one Air Swimmer twice). I hope this helps!

Great fun! Need a BIG room to really do it justice. Very nice motion and control but... its weighted completely neutral so if there's the slighted up or downdraft or thermal this thing is going out of control, so indoor use only. I was eating my dinner to suddenly see this thing drifting past the window... 7 floors up! I tethered it too lightly and with a door open this thing silently drifted out of an open balcony door! After a 30 minute chase across the city, only luck allowed me to get this 4ft long shark back... An emergency kill switch/ remote helium purge value would be a great addition in future, until then it tied to the wall... but certainly recommended....Si, Brum - 30th September 2011
