We’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. We’ve watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. But we haven’t seen anything half as cool as the Blade Runner Whiskey Glass.

Yes, Blade Runner fans, now you can relax after a stressful day ‘retiring’ replicants by getting to grips with the very same tumbler used by Rick Deckard in the seminal 1982 sci-fi movie. And when we say the very same we mean it because the moody Blade Runner’s glass wasn’t just a prop, it was a hand-made crystal glass, mouth-blown by artisans at boutique Italian company, Arnolfo di Cambio – and so is this!

Better still, wait till it’s raining, dim the lights so you can just about make out the flickering neon kebab shop sign over the road and get sipping as you pretend you’re studying crime scene photos on your telly: ‘Enhance two twenty four to one seventy six.’ Failing that attempt to seduce your date by explaining how the Tyrell Corporation implanted her memories. It’s a surefire way to ensure she, er, flees your apartment, Rachael style.

An ideal gift for booze-loving Blade Runner fans, this quality piece of retro-modern glassware is more than a prop, it’s a truly iconic drinking vessel with a brilliant backstory.

Also used by Benjamin Sisko in Star Trek DS9 - In The Pale Moonlight.
Jim Hatley, Brighton - 9th April 2013
These glasses are the real deal. Beautiful to behold and a joy to drink from. They are expensive, but holding them, you feel quality. The factor that puts them over the top is the service from Firebox. Tops in every way.
Kevin Carlson, Iowa, USA - 17th January 2013
My glass arrived today in perfect condition. It's heavier than I thought it would be but it looks and feels great. It is incredibly clear. I would recommend that firebox use much better packaging for a glass such as this, as brown paper doesn't quite fit my standard of shipping. I think I might have been lucky with the postal service this time.
Keith Baker, Sweden - 8th January 2013
This glass is worth every penny regardless of the connection to BladeRunner. The glass quality and construction is exemplary, it's large, heavy and beautiful, everything you'd expect of an Italian glass. They're hand blown so each is unique and the crystal glass used is perfect. Add in the fact that it's one of the most famous film props in history and it's a delight! I own two.
Phil White, Cambridge UK - 22nd November 2012
Firebox says: Phil, this review is a delight! Thank you for being so kind.
Got two of these for Christmas, they might be expensive but they will last for life and the quality is unbelievable. Really heavy and big. Might be for whisky but they are our perfect Sunday Bloody Mary glass.... Just the right size and make you feel like a James Bond villain.... Or of course Deckard. If you're thinking about it stop thinking and get them.... A different class.
John Entwistles Pout, Herts - 4th February 2012
Firebox says: Hi John, very glad to hear that you like the glass - you certainly present a compelling case!
Best Christmas present ever from my wife. Blade Runner is in my top 5 all time favourite movie list, and the only thing I must recommend is to pick up and imbibe from the glass the same way as Deckart does in the movie. Class. Drinking Moskovskaya Vodka from it now as I write this, Friday 06-01-2012 22. 050 GMT.
