Don’t just dream of a white Christmas, make it happen with the gloriously high-tech Instant Snow. Made from an advanced polymer, this incredible stuff looks just like the real white stuff, but without the cold. And it’s easy to clean up too.

Just add tap water and the tiny granules will fluff up like miniature snowflakes. One of these tubs will make an incredible 2 gallons (about 9 litres) of the stuff – brilliant for decorating your Christmas tree or turning your front room into a festive winter wonderland.

Measuring out the powder Adding water Adding Instant snow to the christmas Tree

Measure out the powder

Add water

Yey – snow at christmas!

Over time the fluffed-up flakes will dry out and return to their powdered state. Collect them up and add water to turn them back into instant snow again and again (or just banish them to the hoover bag). This non-toxic stuff is safe around pets and children and won’t leave unsightly marks on furniture or clothing.

So grab yourself a tub and guarantee a whiteout this winter. It makes a great change from drab old Christmas decorations and an ideal gift when the weather just won’t do as it’s told. Who’s for a snowball fight?

Customer Reviews

I ordered this for my brother who is out in Afganistan at the moment. It arrived yesterday and cheered him right up as he loves a winter wonderland at christmas. Thank you Firebox!

You say it doesn't stain and is safe but is it completely ok to use on artificial trees? I would hate for it to somehow react badly with the plastic branches/ needles as that could be a costly mistake.
James - 12th November 2012
Firebox says: Hi James, no it shouldn't leave any stains. It can leave a water mark as it dries out - but this should eventually dry out.It will dry/dehydrate eventually - depending on ambient humidity but it can be re-hydrated with a spritz or spray of water. Can be hoovered up when dry.
Is it safe if dogs eat the snow by accident?!
Livvy - 1st December 2011
Firebox says: It sure is Livvy, instant snow is completely non-toxic for both pets and children
How much water do you need?
Soph - 25th November 2011
Firebox says: Hi Soph, we reckon 1tsp of snow requires about 30ml of water
Oh thanks - now I don't need to dream of a white christmas - I can have one!!!
Soph - 25th November 2011
Firebox says: And it's re-usable so you can have a white Easter and a white summer too! In fact, you can use it snow-ver and snow-ver again!
How long does it take to go back to it's powder state? Looks great!
Soph - 22nd November 2011
Firebox says: Hi Soph, it depends on the temperature, humidity and volume of snow. It could be anything from 4 days to 2 weeks. If you want to keep it longer you can spray with water daily to keep it light and fluffy.
