What's a USB soundcard? Is it something my laptop will have already, or is it something to get seperatly.Lewis, Devon - 3rd November 2011
Firebox says: It really depends on the individual specifications of your specific laptop. Most models will have the necessary hardware built in.
Got this at the weekend. If you are a begineer or have dabbled before it's a great wee bit of kit! Comes with a lite version of VDJ and loading up your MP3 tracks is so easy, via drag n drop or the controller. I've played on full size decks with Torq and for a simple house party, this is just as good! OK, you're missing the feeling of full size decks, but in all honesty, it's just as satisfying. You'll need a USB sound card and a bit of a set up to get to use headphones for cueing up, but it's easy to do! For a sub £50 you turn your laptop into a party in a box...chuck in some decent speakers, disco lights and a smoke machine for full effect! ;-).Scott, Aberdeen - 4th October 2011
