Simply load a tennis ball into the end of this extendable stick and fling it! With a bit of practice you’ll be lobbing them up to 300 feet. Finally received this on Wed, haven't had a chance to test it until today. I have to admit that I'm disappointed with it. The product description says it throws the ball up to 300ft, but it barely goes 3ft in front of me as it goes down rather than ahead like you would expect! My poor dog was often miles ahead of me looking franticallly for a ball that was nowhere near. Perhaps there's a certain knack to it, but I haven't discovered it yet. I bought this for the fact that it retracts, as when the dog inevitably either loses the ball or loses interest in fetching, it would be much easier to put the launcher in my pocket rather than walking around holding onto it like I have to do with our old, non-retractable ball launcher.
