They say that while your baby is in the womb he or she can recognise familiar sounds and voices. But what about vice versa? Sure, it’s not like they’re going to be singing in there, but wouldn’t it be nice to hear your baby’s tiny heart beat and the sounds of them growing up? Well now there is a way.

Using the Foetal Heart Detector you can find out what life is like inside your baby bump. Listen to your baby’s gentle heartbeat, hiccups and movements before they’re even born.

Simply place it on your bump, and pop on the supplied headphones. You can even record the output to the computer and save it for posterity. It’s a great way to bond with your baby – especially when they’re old enough to recognise and react to your voice.

Does it have the facility for a 2nd pair of headphones to be connected?

This is an excellent product - we used it from 16 weeks as we had a scare and were terrified of miscarriage, it's a great comfort to be able to hear baby's heartbeat whenever you feel worried, and saves you so many panicked calls to your midwife! Even for those with a normal uncomplicated pregnancy, it's lovely to hear your baby, and is a great way for Dad-to-be to bond with bump long before he'll be able to feel the kicks. The recording element is also fabulous, we've emailed recordings to family members all over the world who were thrilled to be able to hear their cousin/granchild/niece or nephew for the first time! Definitely worth the cash, works really well and is great on so many levels :-).
