Thanks to all the Jamie Cauliflowers and Heston Blumen-whatsits of the world, we’re now dabbling in flavour combinations we never thought possible. Snail porridge? Meat fruit? Sardine sorbet? All right, we made that last one up. But these kind of experiments have led to some truly amazing discoveries.

Who would have thought, for instance, that spicy chocolate would work? Well, the Mayans did. But apart from them, who else? Certainly not us, until we tried the Spice Bar Set.
