Beer Can Chicken Roaster
Everything’s better with beer
Roasting pan with attachments
The results are sensational, but if all this seems a bit uncouth then grab yourself a Beer Can Chicken Roaster instead. Using the same technique, this specially designed tray lets you serve up your beer-roasted chicken (and veggies) in style.
Use any infusion you like in the Roaster’s central well to keep your chicken moist. Beer works a treat – even Guinness – but you could also try wine, fruit juice or chicken stock. Experiment by throwing in some garlic, onions, chillies or fresh herbs too. This versatile bit of kit gives you complete control of your roast chicken, inside and out.

Hang on a mo... Lewis says "can I put this on a BBQ?".... You respond by saying "unfortunately not", yet in the spec above it clearly says 'Only to be used with BBQ's that have an inbuilt juice collector'. Is this for BBQ'ing or not??? Can you also clarify whether the 3 parts shown are all that you get in the kit. (ie is there another part that goes under the perforated base to collect all the juices etc, or do you use your own oven tray?) Cheers guys. Richard.Richard, Jersey - 28th September 2011
Firebox says: Hi Richard, sorry to cause such a confusion! The Beer Can Chicken Roaster can be used on a BBQ, but only one that has an inbuilt juice collector, so as to not soak the coals in delicious chicken juices. The three parts shown in the picture are indeed the only components in the kit and you will have to use an oven tray to collect the juices. I hope this clears everything up a bit! Drop us an email to info@firebox.com if you have any further queries.
I got my beer can chicken pan today and the 'wok' part of it is covered in holes unlike the photograph above showing it solid with just the slots for the beer can attachment. Correct me if i'm being odd, but surely this is useless as a wok with holes in the bottom, my cooker will burn through, oil will leak out and any juices from the beer can chicken will drop to the bottom of my oven?Lewis, Ringwood - 9th August 2011
Firebox says: Sorry Lewis, it's not really intended as a wok, the perforations mean that the juices and oils can drain into the collector at the base. However we do appreciate that the picture is a bit misleading, so if you'd like to return yours please just let us know. In the meantime, we'll get the images sorted out.
Can this pan be put on the BBQ? I'm looking at buying one but don't want to ruin it by scorching it on open flames.Lewis Broadway, Ringwood UK - 31st July 2011
Firebox says: Unfortunately not Lewis, sorry about that.
