Controlling your computer screen with a mouse is fine when you’re sitting at a desk with plenty of room and you’ve got the hard, calloused hands of a pyramid worker. But what about those of us who need a little more performance from our cursors; who don’t have much room on our busy desks; and who may also have more dextrous – albeit soft and indoorsy – hands?
Well fear not, the Genius Pen Mouse lets you take charge of your computer screen with the lightest of touches. The Pen’s performance-enhanced optical engine lets you use it on any surface from mouse mats to your own leg, so it’s ideal for computing on the go. Being the size and proportions as a regular pen it’ll also fit neatly into your pocket when you’re on the move. It even comes with a travel case for extra protection.
Nice carry case
The Genius Pen Mouse responds intuitively to you – there’s very little to it. Just plug the tiny 2.4GHz receiver into your computer or laptop and you’re ready to go! The smart power-saving function recognises when the Pen’s not being used and powers down. So it’s always ready to go when you need it. Say goodbye to your clunky old mouse.

Sorry that you don't stock this any more, it is a handy product. Just wanted to correct: THIS PRODUCT ***DOES*** WORK WITH LINUX. It was waay too sensitive. I had to add some lines to a configuration file to change the speed and acceleration so it was device specific. Rob - 19th December 2012
Just to make sure, this can't be used with any Linux OS, can it? Only Windows? Vicky - 12th November 2011
Firebox says: Hi Vicky,
The Genius Pen will only work with Windows® 7/Vista/XP at this time, hope this helps!
Are they developing drivers for this to work with Windows 8? Nicholas - 10th November 2011
Firebox says: Hi Nicholas, we've spoken to the people that make this and they say that unfortunately they won't know until Microsoft have released the new operating system so that they can test it.
Absolutely brilliant! Found it more comfortable to hold then a traditional mouse. Once you get used to the new controls it is very easy to use and it can be used on all surfaces (as long it is not too shiny!) and you don't need a lot of space to use it. Only drawback is that it is not good for gaming as the right-click and left-click can be unresponsive at times! Ayesha Begum - 16th October 2011
Very useful, compact and handy to own, it does take some getting use to however. Wayne - 8th September 2011
