Are you still searching for ways to give your drinking sessions a bit more oomph? Well cancel the order for those comedy sombreros, hide the luminous swizzle sticks, chuck that revolting rocket fuel you bought in Lanzagrotty down the sink and order some Ice Shot Glasses.
Shot glasses made from ice! Brr-illiant, we hear you cry! Simply fill the Ice Shot Glasses mould with water, bung it in the freezer and before you know it you'll have 12 perfectly formed frozen shot glasses. Water is the obvious option with which to make your Ice Shot Glasses but you can use pretty much anything else that freezes - within reason, please! We're particularly into cranberry juice at the mo, as the faint zing complements certain grain based drinks to perfection. The colour's cool too. Or how about bombing a B52 encased in frozen orange? The possibilities are endless!
It goes without saying that serving shooters in shot glasses made from pure ice is infinitely more impressive than running around yelling 'tequila' in a rubbish Spanish accent or poisoning your pals with 100 proof atomic waste. And there's none of that washing-up with a monolithic hangover malarkey because the glasses will eventually melt.
Although the concept is screamingly simple, Ice Shot Glasses never fail to impress because the feeling of ice on lip is a sensation no glass in the world can replicate, no matter how cold. You can even chuck your Ice Shot Glasses in the fireplace and swear in Russian without having to buy replacement glassware.
Serving booze in Ice Shot Glasses is a great way to kick-start a night of frozen frolics, as friends will flock from miles around to enjoy your ice-swathed concoctions. What's Fonzie like? Exactly. Ch-ch-cheers!

"Nothing short of sensational, Shot Rocks allow you to drink from a glass made from solid ice."Sunday Express - Feb '03
PROBLEM: you're drinking tequilla slammers but the drinks are getting as warm as the atmosphere. You can't use ice because the slammers are being shot quicker than machine gun rounds. Your dilamma is solved with a twist of party spirit into shot glasses. There are few experiences more surreal then knocking back your favourite spirit from a shot glass made of ice. It's a fantasic idea from a Coke flavoured shot glass or vodka from a glass made of orange.Luton News - May '01

I'm under 18, but I was hoping to buy these for my eighteen year old sister. Would I be able to buy them or is there an age restriction?Karis, UK - 23rd October 2011
Firebox says: There are no age restrictions on this product as it does not contain alcohol and is effectively an ice cube tray.
I DON'T GET IT so you put these in the freezer with your choice of beverage I get that but can you eat the actual glass because its made of ice right? But it used to be glass? I'm stuck firebox tell me!Classiefied, England - 17th December 2010
Firebox says: No worries, you can make the shot 'glasses' out of any freezable liquid, just fill the mold and pop it in the freezer. You could eat them if you like, but be careful as they'll be icy.
A friend of mine had these at a party a couple of weeks ago. They're awesome but difficult to hold onto due to the whole 'made of ice' thing lol! Also, you can only get maybe 2 shots out of them before the alcohol burns through the bottom!
Still great fun anyway! :).Abi, Cambridge - 15th November 2010
Are these ice lollies?Leila, UK - 9th November 2010
Firebox says: No but you could add juice to them instead of water if you wanted a tastier shot glass!
Our friends loved the ice, but be warned they develop holes from the alcohol, so be prepared to make a bit of mess! a good suggestion is to do a mixture of flavours, I used blackcurrant, and orange cordials, a cool refreshing treat to suck on :-).Saz, Wrexham - 16th August 2010
Can I buy the double pack and give it to two different people as presents or is the double pack twice as many in one box?Em, Newcastle - 10th July 2010
Firebox says: It is two separate boxes.
If I order a double pack, will I get two separate packs or one double pack?Nik, - 27th June 2010
Firebox says: You'll get two packs of 12.
Brilliant idea but are a bit of a novelty. When your holding them, you need to use two hands as they melt and slip though your fingers and they only hold about 1/3 of a shot.Jack, Croydon - 19th March 2010
I have these and love them! You should try to make the container out of chocolate and fill with Bailey's Irish creme. They made the A. B. C. (anything but clothes) party pretty interesting.Christine, Florida, USA - 5th March 2010
I bought some of these for someone as a gift and they loved them, wish I would have kept them :).Nicole, Sc - 16th February 2010
