There’s something unfathomably cool about pump-action weapons. So just imagine our excitement when our globetrotting arms dealer (okay, our buyer who’d just returned from a trade fair) burst into Firebox HQ brandishing the almighty Nerf Vortex Praxis. We darn near soiled our Rambo underpants in excitement!

You see the Praxis is one helluva blaster as it utilises amazing disc blasting technology to hurl its foamy ammo jaw-dropping distances. Better still, thanks to a removable shoulder stock, it functions as both hand-cannon and shotgun-style rifle. A 10-disc clip lets you bombard the enemy big time, and you can also add a Tactical Rail (sold separately) to create an N-Strike/Vortex hybrid of staggering awesomeness – and that’s not even a proper word.

Best of all the Praxis is pump-action, which means you can pull back its forestock (oh yeah, we know all the terminology) and hear that satisfying ‘kurchunk’ before unleashing foam disc hell. Now all you need to do is hone your muscles and start quoting your fave action heroes. ‘Don’t push it or I’ll give you a war you won’t believe.’
