"Let's sing together!"

Sometimes we all need a bit of encouragement before we’ll take part in a sing-song. And Sesame Street Singing Soft Toys are no different. These adorable soft plush characters (Elmo and Cookie Monster) need your help to sing.

Just give them a squeeze and they’ll open their Muppet mouths and sing a single note. Squeeze them over and over again and they’ll sing a whole tune! Control the volume of their happy la-la-la-ing by squeezing softly or firmly.

Sing along, or let them put in the lungwork for you. Each has a different repertoire of simple tunes, so anyone can hum along.

visitor avatar I brought the Cookie Monster version for my friend's kid's birthday and of course I had a little test-play before I wrapped it up... To be honest I was a bit disappointed with the product. It does what the description mentions, but it's just so.... . BORING! I can imagine the kid playing with it a few times before it gets lost under the bed. All it does is La-La-La-La each time you press its belly and the volume is dependant on how far in you press it (which isn't very sensitive). It gets very repetitive and the continuous pressing with your thumb would probably make you ache after a few songs! What I think could have made this better if they actually had a background tune playing or something to make it more musical, because a repetitive La-La is hardly stimulating!

Firebox says: Really? We're sorry to hear that Chi. Maybe we're just big kids here but we've been having great fun with him in the office, infact I'm looking at Cookie Monster on the desk right now! Don't those googly eyes and stupid grin just melt your heart? Anyway, I digest (cookies). You gotta get in to the rhythm man! Help the toys sing and they'll even throw in a few encouraging phrases if you complete a song. Yay! Possibly not the greatest toy for an adult, but definately one for the kids, or even big kids in our case!
