Kiiro MP3 Player
Get wired for sound with our incredibly wee MP3

(Please note: This product was formerly called the "Muze MP3 Player").
When St. Cliff Richard sang about being 'Wired for Sound' you can bet your leather blouson he didn't have anything as teensy weensy as the Kiiro CA64-S MP3 player in mind. This sleek, matchbox-sized musical powerhouse is the smallest, most user-friendly MP3 player we've ever had the pleasure to tinker with, and it doesn't just play your favourite tunes. It's also a handy voice recorder (with up to two hours' recording time) and a data storage unit. Which doesn't mean the pale-looking bloke from Star Trek lives in there. It means you can upload and download files such as Word documents and PowerPoint presentations. Handy, and much cooler than lugging a pile of A4 around.
It has all the functions you need plus a few more, including an equalizer, repeat/random play and auto intelligent power off. Two main buttons control most of the action, which means you won't spend hours fiddling to find your favourites. As far as downloading tracks goes, you simply connect the player to your PC (via the supplied USB cable) bung in the install CD (supplied) and then search for your favourite tracks. It's then just a case of dragging and dropping the files straight into the Kiiro CA4-S-S. It's easy peasy MP threesy!
It goes without saying that the sound is amazing, but functions, looks and usability aside, the Kiiro CA64-S's biggest bonus has to be its size. Weighing in at a scrawny 27g, you could quite easily wear this as a piece of jewellery. Which is why it comes with a handy little neck/wrist strap. In fact, we can't quite stress how small the Kiiro CA64-S is - but we'll try; it's smaller than a Hear' say convention, widdlier than Westlife's contribution to culture, slighter than Gary Barlow's chances of charting... it's small. Get the message? We just can't recommend this any more than we already have, so we won't. Just buy one and see and hear it for yourself. For those about to rock, we salute you!
Click here for Kiiro CA64-S Technical Support - including the technical support phone number, email address and the latest Kiiro CA64-S software update. This update offers Windows XP compatibility, and for the 64Mb model it combines the standard twin 32MB drives into a single 64MB drive!

Got the 128meg version, still get 30 tracks at near CD quality on it. Great for the gym, really is digital jewellery. Had a Jaz Piper before but this beats it hands down.George Smith, Barnsley - 23rd May 2003
This was my second mp3 player - pros: small, lightweight, miniHD, good value for money, can fit around 55 reasonable quality mp3s on (is mp3pro compatible). cons: crashes from time to time, its not very loud, and the earphones are naff. Everything considered, I am happy I bought this mp3 player, I use it most days to quieten those other voices that plague me throughout the day.Luke Harbinson, Shropshire - 17th April 2003
At the moment i have 44 songs on this...44! My brother's got a Sony MP3 player and that doesnt even compare to the Kiiro.
Only problems:
a) The display isnt backlit, which is a bit annoying in the dark, (even though it is still very simple to use)
b) The headphones that you get with it are a bit cheap . I went out and brought some Sony ones and the sound is now crystal clear :D
All i can say is if youre thinking of getting an MP3 player, you can't get better than this; price is great, weight is unbelievable and memory is massive...JUST GET ONE AND SEE FOR YOURSELF!!
(ps: its also very small)

This if wicked!! i got the 128mb version, i had it set up in no time on XP and i was banging out the tunes. The player is made well and apears to be pritty robust for its size. Kiiro if your looking at these reviews the things i would improve on the next model is a back lit screen, a battery indicator that doesnt go from full to empty in about 10 mins (the battery lasts for hours, dont get confused) and final when its on, on mine anyway when you press stop it goes onto pause mode this means the auto off function will not work as its not in stop mode, but the auto off works fine if you switch it on by mistake. Overall very good product for the money, oh and you can use it for data too..Matthew Elliott, Leeds - 23rd December 2002
just wondering, is it possible to connect it up to a hi fi to play the tunes you've got off the computer..?Elaine, england - 16th December 2002
Magic...
After reviewing many MP3 players, I decided to go for the Kiiro, mainly for the size - and I was still surprised by how small it was when it arrived on my desk! It's soo tiny and light, you don't notice it.
Looks amazing and sound quality's really good - I got this so that i can listen to music while I'm running so as long as i can work out what the tune is, i don't mind it being the best sound quality player in the world but it is still well good enough!
Also the "response time" seems a bit sluggish - when i power it on in the morning and press forward for track X, it takes a while for that to happen, both onplayer and display - so the player still displays it as track 1 when in fact i pressed the Fast Forward 3 times already - but this seems to go away as the player starts playing tracks...
All in all, great product - and i'm so happy i bought this!
thanks firebox - great product!Kiich, Kingston - 10th December 2002
Wow!! Can't believe how small this is and how many tracks this fits on - got 26 on at the moment and still room for more! This is also the cheapest with 128MB I've seen and believe me we searched around (cheapskates!!). Last years Xmas CD walkman (huge bricklike contraption) sits and wails at it's demise!!! Easy to use once you've got the hang of it - could do with a few more instructions in the user handbook though. Go out and get one! Bus journeys will never be the same!Michelle, Gadgetland! - 1st December 2002
Superb Product....really a heart stealer....but am not able to figure out...why don't they include ac power socket (adapter) & also want to know if we can use rechargable batteries?Ice, India - 31st October 2002
Amazingly light and small! Although I was initially put off by 2 stacks of 32MB memory (meaning harder to squeeze in tracks), Kiiro addressed this with the XP Driver - now it holds a virtual 64MB no probs. And if you drag and drop in album order, that's how they come out - so any review claiming you can't get this is a pack of lies. Me, Ireland - 18th September 2002
The best thing i've bought in ages - buy it!! Reviewer: Roger Crawford from Edinburgh, Lothian United Kingdom.
This thing is the daddy! (and a small one at that)Pro - cheapness (elsewhere about £100), sound quality is superb (with sony headphones), can be used to hold documents or any other files, drag and drop to the 64mb drive, can copy tracks back to your computer (not possible with other brands due to copyright restrictions), fast file transfer, looks well cool, is smaller than you think - its well tiny! new firmware solves problems mentioned about two drives. Can pause and restart at the same point, voice recording is surprisingly clear, can copy voice recordings to hard drive easily, great battery life.
Con - no backlight but this keeps the battery life long... anyway the controls are simple to use, so you can just feel them in the dark!!
No titles of songs displayed, supplied headphones are alright, but you would be better buying some decent ones.
Not expandable memory. hey, it's tiny, what do you expect?
Bottom line: this thing is the dog's danglies - buy it.
ps. I don't work for amazon or firebox!
