GoPro HD HERO 960

Give your home movies a professional edge with a POV (Point of View) shot of the action. This rugged little helmet-mounted HD camera is great for capturing all of your daredevil feats and extreme sports moments.

A stripped-down version of its big brother, the GoPro HD Helmet HERO, the GoPro HD HERO 960 will shoot in 960p, 720p and 480p (WVGA) HD resolution. One charge of the camera’s battery gives you around two and half hours of shooting time. Plug in a 32GB SD card and you can capture up to nine hours of footage.

Most useful of all though is the camera’s waterproof, shockproof and (virtually) bombproof polycarbonate case. Wherever you’re filming – sand, snow, mud or even underwater – the only thing this tough little number will allow in is the view.

Not only will it shoot HD video, the HERO 960 will also take poster-print quality 5MP stills. Snap one at a time, or set the camera to take a photo at 2, 5, 10, 30 or 60 second intervals – you’d be surprised how many great shots you’ll get when you leave the camera to do it for you!

You can mount the HERO 960 in several ways. A headband-style strap lets you slip the camera over your head quickly, and share filming duties between you and your friends. While a separate lace-through strap acts as a more permanent feature for vented helmets. A few curved and flat adhesive mounts are also available for securing the camera to your board, vehicle, or any other piece of gear.
