UNO III Streetbike
From 2 wheels to 3 (and back again)
At low speeds the UNO III is a two-wheeled dicycle
Fast forward to today, and that same principle is being applied to the latest generation of urban cycles right here on Earth. And leading the way is the UNO III Streetbike – deftly switching from two-wheeled dicycle to sleek, three-wheeled sports bike (and back again) at a moment’s notice.
The UNO III transforms automatically
It's like something out of TRON!
The electric motor produces zero emissions, so you can ride around knowing you’re not damaging the planet. What’s more, it’s incredibly economical to run. A single charge from a domestic power socket will take you 30-35 miles, and recharging time is around 3-4 hours – making this the perfect way to beat the traffic jams, and make stuffy buses and packed commuter trains a thing of the past. Artoo would be proud.

Do you need a drivers license?Jamie, Northamptonshire - 1st June 2011
Firebox says: You sure do Jamie.
Good idea, but I think I'll stick with my Kawasaki Ninja ;D.James, Honiton, Devon - 22nd May 2011
This reminds me of an anime called rideback from years ago.Andrew, Uk - 19th May 2011
The only question is how will it be classified in the UK, will it be a moped? a Motorcylce? a Trike? if a motorcycle what size engien will have will you be able to ride it with L plates?
If a trike surely it will be dangerus as you can ride it with a full car licence no helmet and no bike training.Paul, Middlesbrough - 19th May 2011
Firebox says: We're going to have to wait a little longer to find out Paul, once the supplier gets back to us with some concrete information we'll let you know.
Not a bad idea, don't think I'll own 1 though, kept expecting Bumblebee or Octimus Prime to pull up along side him LOL. Will it really take off in the UK though ??Alan, Brandon, Suffolk - 15th May 2011
Ok firstly what does this cost to insure? and as its electric will it need road tax? what about a drivers license? im sure some of these questions are redundant but since this will take me half my lifetime to save for (yet im going to try) I kinda need to know.Loki, Bridlington - 27th April 2011
Firebox says: Fair enough Loki, in this case however we'll all have to wait a bit longer, our suppliers are finishing some design work, and will update as asap.
Very cool and I wish I had the money to buy one, maybe one day!!
P.s Does it transform whilst you are driving? or do you have to be still to transform?Andrew Rainbow-Ockwell, Longcot Nr Swindon - 26th April 2011
Is this actually road safe in the uk and what type of licence would it require?Tom, London - 25th April 2011
Firebox says: Our suppliers have informed us that due to design work that is currently underway they will not have any confirmed licencing/moderation/spec info until later in the year.
I must know, does this come in any other colours? I don't mind it in orange, but it'd be nice to get a hold of one in something like red, purple or lime green....Aidan Cooper, Stockport, England - 24th April 2011
Firebox says: Sorry one colour for now.
