Slushie Maker
Who’s for blue raspberry?
Add salt to crushed ice to begin the Slushie process
The trouble is, in order to enjoy one of these fantastically refreshing drinks you need to visit a Kwik-E-Mart-style store or wait until you come across someone selling them at a fair. Failing that you could always buy a slushie machine. ‘But aren’t they enormous great things that cost a fortune?’ we hear you ask. Well yes, they are normally. Thankfully the Slushie Maker is nothing of the sort.
Easy pour system straight into your glass
As well as fruity slushees the Slushie Maker makes a mean frozen margarita. In fact you can make all kinds of frozen cocktails, daiquiris, martinis, cosmopolitans – the possibilities are endless. You can even experiment with coffee and tea. And watching the churning process through the clear drum is almost as entertaining as gulping down your slushie.

More Info
Please Note:
- If making alcoholic drinks you will need to add the alcohol once you've poured out the slushie mixer, as alcohol doesn't freeze at temperatures the Slushie Maker produces
- Keep out of reach of children
- Read instructions carefully before operation
- Hand wash only
- Wash thoroughly after each use and do not let sit with any left over salt or liquid
- Use crushed ice or small ice cubes from your freezer to make delicious slushie drinks
- Easy to use
- Includes recipe suggestions
- Handy drinks holder and drip tray
- Makes up to 2 litres of slushie
- Mains powered
- Drinks with a high sugar or corn syrup base will crystallise faster and produce a thicker slush than those with milk or lower sugar content. Carbonated drinks will set up slower and will not be as thick
- You need to add lots of salt to the ice in the central component to freeze quicker
- We recommend adding pre-chilled liquid to your Slushie Maker: this will quicken the slush making process
- Carbonated diet drinks will not slush
- Do not use stiff mixtures such as whipped cream or frozen liquids
- Do not operate the unit longer than required. If after 40 minutes the mixture is not yet achieved the slushie consistency or has thawed again, do not continue
- Measures approximately 41.5cm(H) x 19.5cm(W) x 23cm(D)

Firebox says: They make genuine slush!
This looks like a great product, love the idea of using for cocktails but... You have to add *crushed* ice? As in, it doesn't crush the ice for you? :S.Samantha Chisnall, Sheffield - 17th December 2011
Firebox says: Hi Samantha, it's not able to crush big ice cubes so crushed ice or small ice cubes are your best bet for the perfect slushie.
Where do you get slushie syrup from? Looks like a great product though!Stephanie, Seaton - 15th December 2011
Firebox says: Here's a couple of good websites to get you start Stephanie, http://www.slush-syrup.co.uk & http://www.slushdirect.co.uk. Though part of the fun of the Slushie Maker is that you can use it with pretty much any drink/juice/cordial you like rather than relying on the syrups.
I loveeee this slushie maker, it takes 10 mins to get the mix 'slushing' and is really easy to make, I like using soda stream mix for max taste and I can 100% guarantee BRAIN FREEZE!
Nice one Firebox.Janice Mason, Richmond - 9th September 2011
