Chrome Saietta R in the Gherkin, Lonson

It looks stunning from any angle

Facing another long traffic jam home tonight? Or will you be cramming yourself into a packed train carriage again? Well how about cutting through the traffic on an outstanding electric sports bike instead?

Designed for urban living, the Agility Saietta R Bike combines powerful performance with Hollywood looks. As the specs show, this isn’t simply an exercise in style. Thanks to the Saietta R’s electric motor, the engineers have stripped out all of the bulk that once dictated how a bike should look – letting the design evolve beyond the traditional petrol-driven motorbike shape. The result is a lightweight, environmentally-friendly dream that would give Tron’s lightcycles a run for their money.

Available in many colours

There is a large choice of cosmetic finishes. Choose your favourite colours for body, seat and wheels

Glowing dashboard

Dash glows like a TRON lightcycle!

Since it uses battery power over petrol, the bike is incredibly economical to run and creates zero emissions. But don’t let the eco tag fool you. For those expecting a glorified milk cart, the Saietta R will shift from 0 to 60 in just 4 seconds. The ergonomic shape, precision weighting and advanced suspension geometry make for an incredibly stable ride and exceptional manoeuvrability. Suddenly that train carriage is looking stuffier than ever.

visitor avatar Not wanting to sound pedantic (but failing) the zero emission claim is false. The electricity is likely to be produced at a coal powered plant which emits a lot of carbon polution, if not that then a nuclear plant which has a waste by-product that takes 1000's of years to degrade. Only if you can gaurantee the power comes from a wind farm, a solar plant or a hydro plant can you claim zero emissions. Rant ended :P.

Firebox says: Good point! We will have a look into this and adjust the copy!

Anil, Manchester - 24th April 2012
visitor avatar You've said what the 0-60 of it, but what is the top speed? Maybe it's the fastest electric bike (Jeremy Clarkson voice on)... in the world.
Alasdair Goudie, Laphroaig - 8th July 2011
Firebox says: Best recorded is a whopping 120mph! ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!
visitor avatar Is it road legal for a 16 year old in the UK?
Declan Horton, Gloucestershire - 2nd June 2011
Firebox says: If you get the gearing reduced and have a provisional license then yes!
visitor avatar In response to the numberplate comment.... A small numberplate under the seat will hardly be noticed, and its a bike so no front plate. Looks good, maybe a little too tron like to ride without looking strange, but would be cool to own.
Adam, London - 12th May 2011
Firebox says: It sure would Adam!
visitor avatar This bike is beautiful right now but as soon as you put number plates on it'll be ruined.
Lee, Liverpool - 9th May 2011
Firebox says: Just ride it at the track!
visitor avatar So do u need a motorcycle licence 2 ride 1 of these things?
Nick, Staffordshire - 7th May 2011
Firebox says: You sure do, this is a fully functioning bike that needs to adhere to all UK road laws!
visitor avatar Do you need a full bike licence to ride this? what is the equivalent of this in CC ?
Gary, Derby - 3rd May 2011
Firebox says: You need a full license or a provisional with the gearing reduced, at full thump this is equivalent to 500cc
visitor avatar What is the battery charge time? That's if it allows you to plug into the mains like the other bikes. I currently use the “Eco Scooter” myself.
Mat, Mansfield - 30th April 2011
Firebox says: Charging takes approx 3 hours on a FastCharge point, or approx 7 hours on a normal 3 pin (mains) power point.
visitor avatar What type of licence do you need to ride this badboy?
Jason, Exeter - 29th April 2011
