18 classic games in your hands

Treat those modern gaming consoles to a 16-bit punch in the face with Sega Mega Drive Handheld Streets of Rage. Harking back to an era when the world was torn between a moustachioed plumber and a speedy blue hedgehog, the Mega Drive blazed a trail for team Sega and made consoles finally cool.

Description

Comes with a cable to connect to your TV!

We’ve come a long way since those halcyon days, but the playability of those early Sega games remains the same. And now you can enjoy them on the move with this portable revamp of the classic console.

Incredibly – given the size of the original cartidges – this piece of handheld history is packed with eighteen classic games. So whether you’re a Virtua Fighter or an Alien Stormer, there’s something for everyone among these fan favourites. All this, and not an Angry Bird in sight...

Customer Reviews

More a reply to Peter Franklin's comment above. This isn't like a Game Gear, a Game Gear was essentially based on 8 bit Master System hardware and the games were essentially the same as on that. This is 16bit Megadrive hardware games so in my opinion, much better!

So, this is a GameGear basically? Without cartridges, so with a smaller selection of games (Although they ARE amazing games and GG didnt have TV out and probably had a worse screen, to be fair to this).
Peter Franklin, Essex - 5th April 2011
I have a white AR games one of these basically identical apart from the games. You cant save a game on the white one either, can you save games on this version??
Greg, Telford - 4th April 2011
Firebox says: Sorry Greg, unfortunately not.
