I absolutly Love this camera, and do always carry with me. I do think that the case should have had a spare battery holder as battery always dies at worst moment. Also the camera doesn't work in medium-low light levels. Otherwise a interesting camera that makes a Great talking point in the Pub. The L'Espion is cool for 1 week, then you take it to a party and realise that it does not work much in artificial light or low light levels... but fear not... the lovely ladies don't know this & hey they are the stars of the show !... well i usually read a bunch of reviews on a product before i consider purchasing, but this item just caught my eye for the sheer size. this puppy is small peeps! its about 1 or 2 millimetres too big to fit into a standard redheads matchbox, but il find another place to umm.... mount it discreetly haha. ive had it fro three days and ive got like 400 pics on my pc already, ive just been going totally bananas with the thing.i particularly like the rapid shot burst (or whateva its called) cos im a skater and i can get the best sequences out of it. the L'espion will rapidly take 80 shots (low-res) in around 7 to 8 seconds, which equates to around 10 shots per second (in case ur mathematically inferior)so basically u can pick from all the shots n get the best combo of pics for your sequence. i got a sequence of my friend snapping his board, and theres three pics of it flexing before it broke. im totally stoked on it. and it likes getting sneaky pics of unsuspecting honeys too haha. all in all people, just GO GET ONE!!! i did and i havent let it outta my hand yet! P.S. tip: take ur laptop with u on ur skating, and hook the l'espion up on the move, the video length/memory is increased to the capacity of your hard drive space, not just the 8 seconds limit it has, while on its own. the L'espion ("the spy") im hooked :)Loki Vonsta, Sydney, Australia - 7th December 2002
It's brilliant. Don't confuse it with the expensive cameras. If you want a handy camera with you at all times, this is the one. I find it's better for scenery than people. So small you can take it with you everywhere. Be prepared to be surrounded by people when ever you take it out of your pocket though! The hi-res pictures are good but the low-res aren't really usable. Also the camera needs a lot of bright light to work. I'm afraid I found it a little temperamental. It is easy for the memory to get wiped and you lose all your pictures having never seen them! I have done this by dropping the camera whilst downloading, turning the pc on when the camera is connected, and by the battery running out. I have had my Lesbian Camera for many months now. I take it every where I go, the silver paint is wearing off the sides and the pouch is all tatty because I use it so much. It's a fantastic little device which is so small I often loose it in my pocket amongst my chewing gum and matchbox!
