description

75% of your brain is water. Think about that. And when you’re done gawping at your screen like a comatose goldfish, consider this: 1.5 million barrels of oil are used to make plastic water bottles each year, and most of those bottles end up littering landfill sites and oceans. For these reasons and many more, buying a Bobble Bottle is a no-brainer.

This funky designer bottle filters water as you drink. Clever, eh? Simply fill it with tap water and let the internal filter work its magic. The replaceable filter gives you two months’ worth of clean water at a fraction of the cost, to your pocket and the environment. Mmm, clean, crisp water.

Available in five eye-catching colours, the Bobble Bottle is set to become a must-have accessory for thirsty planet lovers everywhere – and that means you. So don’t just sit there vegetating when you could be busy rehydrating. Get ordering. Glug!

It is suggested that we do not refill plastic water bottles due to the possibility of contamination (BPA & such). This seems to make this item useless for most.
Steve Camp, NYC - 28th August 2013
Firebox says: Hi Steve, Thanks for mentioning this. I'm pleased to tell you that the Bobble bottles are made from a safe plastic and that you can refill them as often as you need to.
I got one of these a while ago now, it is very useful as I always have a bottle of water with me and this was seen to be a safer option. The only drawback I have had is that the filter leaks when it is closed. I have had 2 filters with this bottle now and both of them have leaked even when pushed as far closes as it can be. It does not leak from where the filter is screwed in but from the top of the cap (as some people call them) even when the lid is on so I have to keep my bottle in a sandwich bag when I am out and about so that I do not end up with a wet satchel again. So just a little word of caution that possible leaks can happen. Apart from that I am happy with the bottle and filter.

Just wondering if this is suitable for using with cordial/juice? I'm not too interested in the filter, more in finding a safe reusable bottle for my ribena!!!
Jill, Lancs - 20th May 2012
Firebox says: Hi, Its really not designed for juices, it works as a water filter, the sugar in the ribena/cordial will clog it up!
Perhaps a daft question, but can these be washed out in the dishwasher?
Natalie, - 8th November 2011
Firebox says: Hi Natalie, it's not a daft question at all! In fact these are NOT dishwasher-safe
Sorry just saw the label by the photo "replace every 150 litres" I'm relaxed now! sorry to bother you!

Firebox says: Fair enough Abdullah, for best results we recommend changing the filter after every 150 litres of water filtered.
