I have this for work and is great! Are they microwave safe???
James Broadbent, Huddersfield - 10th April 2012
Firebox says: Hi James, it's not microwave safe I'm afraid.
Hi firebox! I am tempted to buy one of these but I have a few questions first 1. How sturdy is it? My last packed lunch box's handles broke whithin the first month of carrying it in my bag. I expected them to last longer even with the stress of being in my bag. 2. How big are its dimentions? I can see the general proportions in the picture but I need to know how big exactly it is because my lunch consists of more than an apple and a sandwich. 3. Can u make it in yellow? I would be more tempted to buy it if it was made in yellow because its the trademark LEGO colour. Also I like yellow more than black, red, pink and that blue so I would greatly appreciate it if you could make yellow ones too. I hope you reply Thank you!
Bryony, Middlesbrough - 31st January 2012
Firebox says: Hi Bryony! Its pretty sturdy, but I would not recommend throwing it about too much (besides your sandwich might get messed up!) It is 7.5cm(H) x 10cm(W) x 20cm(L) so amble for a appetizing sarnie and a big 'ol piece of fruit (or chocolate bar/s!) We cannot get any yellow ones unfortunately, but will have blue in stock soon!
Bought the lego lunch box for my grandson, he loves it, his friends stop and ask him where he got it from, I tell him to say FIREBOX, not grandma and grandad!

Can these lunch boxes go in the dishwashers?
Liz Smith, Wirral - 12th November 2011
Firebox says: Hiya Liz, yup these are dishwasher safe up to a maximum temperature of forty degrees. I hope this helps!
I bought this for my son. It is quite small but you could fit a sandwich (cut in half and staked on eachother) a small carton of juice and a yoghurt tube. We just decided to use it for a storage box so my son can keep his card collection in it! You could just use it to store the wee bits of lego (the figures and accessories) All in all its a good wee box!
Gemma Stevenson, Glenrothes,Fife - 11th November 2011
Firebox says: Good advice Gemma, and we're glad you like it. We think that's a good size for a lunch, but if you want more, you could always wrap the sandwich in foil separately. We also do a number of other LEGO storage boxes: http://www.firebox.com/firebox/search?searchstring=lego+storage
Is the lunch box BPA free?
Danielle, Sydney - 10th November 2011
Firebox says: Hi Danielle. These lunchboxes are made from polypropylene (5, PP) which is a BPA (bisphenol A, for anyone not in the know) free substance. Hope this helps!
