Decorating a cardboard box with the Blinking Eyes

Decorate your colleague's box

Whether it’s your fridge, car, or computer screen, there’s something very reassuring about chatting to something that can’t answer you back. Stick a pair of Blinking Eyes onto it and it’s even easier.

Just switch on these gloriously cartoony mince-pies and within seconds they’ll have synced with each other, blinking at random intervals in a way that’s endearingly (and hilariously) human.

All sorts of cut-out accessories are included in the box for adding even more personality, as well as suction cups and hooks for attaching to any surface- you’ll be anthropomorphosising your life within minutes!

visitor avatar How long do the batteries last for?
Andrew, Runcorn, Cheshire, UK - 23rd November 2011
Firebox says: They should last a pretty long time Andrew.
visitor avatar Great in a noisy environment, but in a quiet environment the fairly loud clacking noise made by the blinking becomes very distracting / annoying. I took them in my office - first 5 minutes everybody loved them then the comments about the noise started.
Chris, Keighley - 19th October 2011
visitor avatar Would buy a pair but I think there to blinking expensive ha ha.
Marty, South Shields - 10th September 2011
visitor avatar Am gonna buy these - for myself my fella and sister. I am going to have mine in the car looking out of the back window at other drivers hahahaha.
Michelle, Wakefield; W Yorks - 5th May 2011
visitor avatar Can they be attached to a wall because I was hoping to put them on my bedroom wall.
Sam Andrews, Pontypridd - 28th April 2011
Firebox says: No sorry, you would need to use a shelf.
visitor avatar I am returning my blinking eyes. They stopped working after about 10mins and they did not stick to my bathroom door which I'm totally devastated about. Pretty disappointed in the product myself and at £25 I was hoping for something special :(.
Emily Graham, Musselburgh, Scotland - 15th April 2011
Firebox says: Sorry about that! If you have not done so already please email us at info@firebox.com so we can look into this for you.
visitor avatar Good idea James. I might buy them and do the same LOL.
Emily, Musselburgh - 13th March 2011
visitor avatar Wish they were cheaper, but they are still awesome :D.
Emma, Wonderland - 12th March 2011
visitor avatar Looks awesome!!! Put them on the bathroom door for puzzled looks (inside of the door so they stare at people doing their business).
James Marks, Harrogate - 5th March 2011
visitor avatar Now that I have these, they are very cool. And they are huge! The fact that they sync and blink perfectly together is just amazing!! It would be nice if the pupils stayed open when they were switched off so they were still displayable so that is a shame. And much like the USB chameleon I have, they move a LOT and it's noisy when they do. If they only blinked every few minutes it would be better, and be hillarious surprising people who were having a good look at them, not realising they would suddenly blink! They kinda give the game away doing it so often, and it gets a little annoying after a while. If I knew more about electronics I might be tempted to open them and have a try to slow them down. But they are brilliant, my fridge now makes me smile everytime I walk into the kitchen.
