Ideal for use in small places

Even if you’re a dab hand at manipulating your laptop’s touchpad it’s still not as accurate or user-friendly as a separate mouse. But laptop-friendly mice can be pretty chunky, and unless you enjoy elbowing fellow travellers/latte lovers they’re pretty useless in confined spaces. Which is precisely why you need the Swiftpoint Mouse. Tables and mousemats? Nah!

Ideal for use in small spaces this award-winning gizmo offers pen-like comfort and traditional functionality whilst sitting on your laptop’s palm rest. It really is the best thing to happen to mobile computing since the advent of the WiFi friendly coffee shop.

With no software to install the wireless Swiftpoint works on any platform. Simply plug in its micro USB dock/receiver and get mousing. The innovation doesn’t stop there because as well as the usual left/right clickers and scroll wheel this ergonomically ingenious doodah can be tilted to scroll through documents or zoom in. Ooh, Justin, look at those zits! Once you get the hang of it we think you’ll agree this is one of the finest mice ever to manipulate your cursor.

You needn’t worry about pesky batteries because the Swiftpoint is rechargeable via the aforementioned micro USB receiver. And get this: as well as securing the Swiftpoint magnetically, this unobtrusive gadget will whoosh in an hour’s worth of battery life in just 30 seconds. Amazing!

If and when you want to type, the Swiftpoint can be placed on its magnetic ‘parking accessory’, a removable adhesive strip that sits on your touchpad. They really have thought of everything. The Swiftpoint even has a touch sensor so it won’t move the cursor when you put it in the ‘park’ position. So what’s it to be, endless of hours of clumsy fingering or a new era of precision mousing? The answer, dear screen-gawper, is small but brilliant.

visitor avatar I have been looking for a new mouse for my laptop. Trouble is, it's a beta laptop. I own a CR-48 Chrome Notebook (you know, that GOOGLE pilot program laptop?), and the trackpad is CRAP. So, I need to know, will this work with the CR-48 Chrome Notebook? Thanks in advance.

Firebox says: Unfortunately we cannot confirm this for you Devon, due to the untested nature of you Notebook. Although we can't see why it wouldn't work.
