But never mind all that close-quarters nonsense. With a range of up to 10.7 metres (35 feet in old money) you can find yourself a safe spot and use the flip up sight and tactical rails to snuff out your targets from a distance. To save you having to break cover to retrieve your ammo, the blaster can also hold two quick-reload clips. Just pull out the empty clip and slap in a new one!

Very disappointed with the range and accuracy. I did a side-by-side comparison with the Maverick and the Maverick wins on both accuracy and range. That's depressing considering the size and cost of this Longstrike. And you can't even use whistle darts.CP-AS, Cambridge, UK - 17th November 2011

This product is something else. I'm 16 nearly 17 and have a younger brother who received the Nerf Recon for Christmas and has been shooting me ever since, so I decided to get some payback. I got the Maverick at first and that was so much fun, but as I got some more money I decided to take a step up...all hail to the Longstrike. I love this thing, it's amazing.
