Digital doodling
Handy size for convenient carrying!
Perfect for scribbling messages, writing to-do lists, sketching digital graffiti, doing sums and drawing up mad professor-ish master plans, this ludicrously lightweight, flexible electronic pad features a pressure-sensitive screen upon which you can write, doodle and sketch using the included stylus, your finger or anything else capable of applying the required pressure. When you need to erase your handiwork simply press the button. Clever, eh?

My one won't erase eney more :(.Adam Jeffries, Rosyth - 6th May 2012
Firebox says: Wow! this should be good for 50,000 erasures, have you really used it that many times already! If not you may have a faulty board, drop us a line with your order details to Info@firebox.com and we will look into your options.
Is it able to connect to a computer to be used as a writing tablet so I can take notes on it for school?Nicole, South Dakota - 27th April 2012
Firebox says: Hi Nicole, sadly no this is only designed for writing on the Tablet itself, sorry about that.
I would like to buy the Boogie Board Message Centre accessory, do you have any plans to stock this item?Richard, UK - 26th February 2012
Firebox says: Hey Richard, unfortunately there are no plans to stock the Boogie Board Message Centre at the present time.
2 questions. I am leaning towards buying the 10. 5 model, as I like the idea of being able to change the batteries when required, but confused by the mention of the sealed 3v battery and the need for AAAA batteries as well, which are the changeable ones!! help please explain. Does the tablet come with everything it needs to work straightaway?
Also does the neoprene sleeve for the 8. 5 model, fit the 10. 5 model as well, or is there an alternative?
Thanks!!Karen A, Milton Keynes - 31st December 2011
Firebox says: Hi Karen, Neither of the two tablets use replaceable batteries (AAAA are non replaceable in this unit, but will last 6 + years! Both come with styluses and and instructions. Unfortunately the 8.5" neoprene sleeve will not fit the 10.5" board, but it will fit in most netbook cases!
I found this product really great and although it doesn't save I was very happy with the standard of the product. There was only one minor setback, that the Boogie Board didn't come with a telescopic stylus. But hey I suppose nothing's perfect : (.Hasan, Altrincham UK - 27th December 2011
Does the sleeve cover thingy fit the boogie board RIP?Hello, United Kingdom - 13th November 2011
Firebox says: Hi, the Rip is a bit bigger so the sleeve will not fit, watch this space for a RIp cover!
Hey, it looks absolutely amazing, I was thinking of asking for this as a christmas present and I love drawing and writing but I hate all f the wasted bits of paper if you mess it up! but before I ask for it, I want to make sure it is worth it, so I was wondering if you can change the battery and what comes with it, EG:... telescopic stylus, case, clip on stylus holder ect.... . , and when the rip version was coming out and roughly how much it would cost?Shannon, Edinburgh - 24th October 2011
Firebox says: Hi Shannon, I can confirm that the battery for the 8.5" Boogie Board is NOT replaceable. The battery for the 10.5" Boogie Board IS replaceable. And the 'Rip' is rechargeable by connecting it to a PC via USB. The stylus is non-telescopic. The neoprene sleeve and the stylus-holder are available as accessories (underneath the 'buy' button) but do not come as standard.
We are planning to get the Rip in and we're expecting to have it in by mid-to-late November. Unfortunately we won't be able to give you any definite price information until nearer the release date. Hope this helps with what you wanted to know!
Hi, love this. Any ideas of a rough price for the Rip version that is soon to come out?
Don't worry, I won't hold you to it, just curious if it is worth waiting for or if I should just buy a tablet to write on.
Thanks.David, Leicester - 19th October 2011
Firebox says: Hi David. We're currently due to get the Rip in the latter part of November, however I can't confirm anything on price at the moment. As soon as we have more details they will be on the site. The best way to keep informed of new products is to join our Facebook page or sign up to our regular newsletters.
Smashing ! Super ! Great !
Just one small gripe. My Boogie Board came with a non telescopic stylus.........still great.Maz J Bocon, Market Harborough - 19th October 2011
Firebox says: Hi Maz! Glad to hear you like the board. Apologies for the stylus, the manufacturer altered the product without informing us. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Check your email, there may just be something there for you!
I use this when tutoring. If I need to make a quick diagram or calculation on something like that, it's ideal. It saves me (i) using paper which will only be thrown away or (ii) jumping up and going to the whiteboard to do something. Also my students can try something out easily. I wish I'd had this years ago when I was teaching in class. It would have made the quick one-on-one interactions so much better if I could have made quick sketches etc.
So, yes, it isn't a complete replacement for paper, but it isn't meant to be. If you've got no use for it, it's useless, as many have said. But if you CAN see a use for it, it's BRILLIANT!!!!!Michael, United Kingdom - 14th October 2011
