NotPad
Tablet that’s hard to swallow!
Why let the trifling matter of a few hundred quid prevent you from owning the latest tablet computer? Especially when you can buy this papery replica for a smidgen of the price? iSay!
Yes, iFans, the deeply ironic NotPad is brought to you by those mischievous Apple cart kickers at the Nice Pear™ Corporation. As CEO Hans Jobs explains: ‘The NotPad is a groundbreaking 60-page notepad with an acetate front sheet and hardboard back.
‘Its 9.7” paper display features three page styles: vertical lined, horizontal lined and blank. This means the NotPad can be used in all orientations and is compatible with most hardware, including pens, pencils and crayons.’
Okay, okay, we know this is just a pad of paper disguised as an iPad but it’s one in the eye for iBores who can’t stop prattling on about their wonder gizmo. Start doodling on this baby during a meeting and we guarantee the boss will applaud your subversive sense of humour before giving you a raise. Assuming he’s not Steve Jobs.

Got this as a quirky present for my friends birthday and she absolutely loved it! It's a great funny gift to give someone; a tad overpriced but it's definetly a good present for someone who's spoilt ;D.Zoe, Co. Durham - 1st May 2012
A lot of money for what is, it is essentially a 99p writing pad. A good novelty present but thats about it. Would not reccomend.Haydon, Luton - 9th March 2012
Will this be in soon??? I pre-orded it two weeks ago and I really want it for a friend for christmas?Holly, Guildford, Surrey - 13th December 2011
Firebox says: Hi Holly, sorry for the continued delay and thank you for your patience. We're expecting the NotPad to be in stock tomorrow, and although there are no guarantees, it should get to you in time for Christmas.
Is this definatly going to be in stock before Christmas? I REALLLLLY want to get some of these for a couple of gadget obsessed friends.Ellie, London - 12th November 2011
Firebox says: Should do Ellie, we'll update the site if there are any changes.
£10. 99. . . For paper.McZomb, Belfast City - 16th September 2011
If you run out of paper, can you use your own paper? by your own paper I mean blank white paper or white paper with lines on it.Haylie, Surbiton - 15th July 2011
Firebox says: It's more of a one-off Haylie, but you could stick a new pad inside once it's done.
A fab idea to use as a joke for those of us who can't afford to buy loved ones a real one but I agree with some of the other comments... What could be a fab item, is rather a disappointment. It doesn't come in a pretend iPad box but in see-through packaging so it immediately loses its humour value as you can tell it isn't at all real straight away. £10. 99 for a pad of paper = way too expensive. Would be worth the money if it came in a proper box., Newcastle-upon-tyne - 20th June 2011
Are refills for the paper available?Jayne, Essex - 15th June 2011
Firebox says: Unfortunately not Jayne.
Got this for my 12 year old daughter for her birthday. She loves writing and would love an iPad, however I feel she is still too young to spend that much money. This was perfect. She found it very funny and couldn’t wait to show her friends at school. Will be buying again for friends.Rebecc, Swansea - 12th April 2011
Bought this for my mum who has wanted an iPad for ages and as they're so expensive this was this was the closest I could get. She loves it and I loved the spoof advert another great quirky idea from firebox!!!Lily G, Bridge Of Weir Scotland - 18th March 2011
