As any parent will tell you, kids love travelling with a bumper selection of their favourite toys in tow. But carrier bags and cardboard boxes are no way to transport teddy and the gang. Enter, with a whimsical fanfare of suitably kid-friendly music, the Trunki Travel Toybox.
This stylish 4-in-1 storage solution is brought to you by the award-winning makers of Trunki, and it’s all set to replicate the ride-on suitcase’s phenomenal success. Why? Well for one thing it’s a funky stackable toybox that will complement/de-clutter any kid’s bedroom. Better still it’s easily transportable and fits neatly into your car’s footwell or boot. ‘No, teddy’s not under the brake pedal, he’s in your Toybox!’
They are sturdy enough to support a childs weight plus they can be joined together to form a cool Trunki train!
Available in Blue or Pink
Best of all, thanks to a multifunctional lid, the sturdy Trunki Travel Toybox can be used as a ride-on toy, tow-along cart or stackable tower. Kids can even create a Trunki train as several Toyboxes can be connected together. All aboard!
I recently bought three of the blue colour for my three sons. They really loved the Trunki Toybox. They play with the Toybox as train, as car, what more can I say? The order arrived next day and these are excellent quality products! I then order two more, not for my sons... But indeed for me and my husband. We really love the cute design and the colour.... This is much wider than the traditional Trunki and EXCEEDS DIMENSIONS FOR HAND LUGGAGE for air travel by 5cm (2 inches).
You might also struggle to fit it in the rear footwell of a smaller car.
On the upside the bottom, which incorporates the wheels becomes the lid for the toy bin when you turn it over. So nothing falls out when you open it (unlike the traditional Trunki)
The lid is curved and turns the whole thing into a rocking toy when turned upside down.
Assembled it can be attached to other Trunkis to form a train, but it does not have a lead to pull it on.
Summary: Great for moving toys about, but too wide to go hand luggage on a plane. Hans-Ulrich Laasch, Stockport - 15th December 2010
