Stainless Steel Wallets

Keep your smart cards safe
from skimmers

Keeping credit cards and other readable plastic in old-school wallets is fast becoming as daft as stuffing your life savings under the mattress. Because thanks to handheld RFID scanners, thieves can now pilfer personal details faster than you can say ‘three digit number on the back’. But being sensible doesn’t mean being square. Enter the gorgeously sleek Stainless Steel Wallet.

Designed by Brooklyn-based designers Stewart/Stand, this ultra-thin contemporary wallet is crafted from woven stainless steel fabric, which as well as being super-strong blocks out RFID scanners. Talk about total card protection.

Stainless Steel Wallets

Woven stainless steel fabric

Despite its armour-like properties and resistance to corrosive materials (salt, seawater, acids, etc) the Stainless Steel Wallet feels as smooth as silk. It looks the business too. This high quality range even includes a bad-guy-blocking passport holder and a soft leather wallet with a stainless steel interior. So come on, crack out your card and get ordering before Mr Tealeaf does it for you!

Visitor Reviews...

visitor avatar So does that mean I have to take my oyster card out of my wallet instead of being able to just swipe it? Cause if so that's unpractical for me.
Reza Hunter, London - 30th January 2012
Firebox says: It will need to to be taken out as the Oyster uses RFID technology (just what this wallet is combating!)
visitor avatar How smooth are the slots? I don't want my cards to get scratched up.
Adam Miller, UK - 7th January 2011
Firebox says: Nice and smooth for you Adam.
visitor avatar Just got mine yesterday and all I can say is WOW!! I got the diamond textured one and its perfect. I'm not gonna complain about having change in my pocket ever again when this bad-boy is all I'm gonna need. Shame I ordered direct from Stewart Stand and including shipping and customs charges it ended up costing me over £80!!
Pete Smith, Wiltshire - 6th January 2011
visitor avatar Quality Batfink referencing.
Ben, Southampton - 5th November 2010
visitor avatar I like it. I just ordered one 'cause my Jimi broke. Hoping this will last a little better, haha =o).
Jon, Teesside - 5th November 2010
visitor avatar Does the card have to be removed when using it to board buses, trains, tubes, etc. ?
Michael, London - 5th November 2010
Firebox says: Yes - Oyster Cards will not work through this wallet.
visitor avatar Is the stitching stainless steel too? At £60 odd, I wouldn't want it to fall apart into stainless steel patches....
Dave, Faversham, Kent - 5th November 2010
Firebox says: Even the stitching is stainless steel! A wallet fit for Superman himself.
visitor avatar How many cards will this wallet hold when putting 1 card in each slot?
Andrew Hooper, Torbay - 4th November 2010
Firebox says: It has slots for 6 cards and has a section for notes at the back.
visitor avatar Dose it have any pocket where you put coins.
Leli, Malta - 28th October 2010
Firebox says: No Leli, just for notes and cards we're afraid.
