Battery-powered, the ludicrously addictive Monotron lets you create weird and wonderful music like never before. Well almost, because we can’t help thinking of early Depeche Mode mixed with warbling Blake’s Seven* sound effects and a touch of Galaxian every time we tickle its titchy keyboard and tweak those intuitive knobs.
But that’s hardly surprising because this unputdownable noisebox features the same analogue filter found in the legendary Korg MS-10 synth used by OMD, The Human League and other 80s blipblop acts.

Purchased the Monotron recently, for anyone interested in audio/sound production (or making analogue squelches) it's a great bit of kit.
Part toy, part synth, and a HUGE dose of good-times! The ribbon controller lets you play a sound (Don't expect a dead straight pitch, the ribbon is sensitive to movement) then you have endless possibilities at your finger tips with the VCO, VCF and LFO controls. The fun doesn't stop there, the LFO control lights up in time to the oscillation of the LFO, adding a nice touch to your squeel-sesh, and the built in speaker means that you are never confined to solo productions, with this baby, everyone can hear you scream!
